Vortex Optics Viper HD Roof Prism Binoculars 10x50

Nice weight, very easy to hold steady and I can carry these all day. Very easy to set up the binoculars for first use. Once set up, focussing is very fast and straightforward. Field of view is fantastic. The glass is superb. There is better glass out there, but I honestly can't tell the difference anymore now I'm nearly 60. I'm not going to test the waterproofing, but I understand that they are 100% waterproof and covered by an outstanding warranty if these individual bino's aren't. All told, these represent awesome value for money. You're getting great glass at a mid-tier price point. Test these side-by-side with anything and see if you can justify spending more than these cost.

Very clear, work great at dusk and early morning. A little expensive but are noticeably clearer than other Binos I looked through. Comes with a nice case & caps. Good size for quick & simple use. These are, sit in the window farmhouse Binos, if they last 20 years like the last pair they will be a good value. The answer=a coyote.

We live in a semi rural property in Queensland and our property is always active with bird life. We had an old 1980s set of Jason 6x binoculars but the optics were not flash. These binoculars are awesome! Great optics, powerful zoom, and amazing light gathering powers.

Works well for my needs. I know this not top of the line glass but very good for the price. The chest harness is a decent starting place but I will upgrade for next year's hunting season.

The Viper has a quality feel in the hands. So handy to pick up and go outside at night and spend some time with the sky. Last night, even though the seeing was a bit below average, I located the Andromeda Galaxy within a few minutes and enjoyed watching the view materialize as my eyes adapted to the darkness. I definitely recommend the Viper 10x50 and would buy again.

Optics are what you'd expect for the price. I am willing to pay a $100 less and NOT get the carry harness. Harness does not stay together, straps are constantly coming loose. Will have to purchase another chest harness due to this. Otherwise, the optics are good. C+ B- Rating.

These Binos work Great Love Them .

These binoculars are amazing. I wanted a little more power than the 8x42s (which are also amazing) but with the same view field and clarity. I tested the 10x 42s and they just didn’t have that same crisp field of view. I also compared these in the field to the zeiss conquest HD and easily liked the vipers. The build quality is exceptional, the diopter is smooth and strong and clarity is stunningly crisp.
