This is a nice foam windscreen pop filter. It fits my AT2020 USB perfectly. Just remember to gently stretch it to cover the mic's mesh grille. Works well handling the plosives. It looks professional. When using a boom arm at a desk, this foam windscreen is more convenient than using a goose-neck pop filter attached to the boom.

Great little windshield with nice thickness and a reassuring density. It does pretty much what you'd expect with very little vibration transfer, even in quite strong wind. It's not cheap soft low-density foam - it's a nice firm foam that won't deform in strong airflow. For anyone wondering, it fits a Rode NT1 perfectly, and is just about the right tension to grip very well. The depth is spot on too, giving perfect cover without any unused space at the top - it's also just about the perfect snugness for the NT1 and definitely won't slip or move once fitted. I'm very happy with this shield. Star ratings: amazon wanted a star rating for "sheerness" ... and I've left that blank. I'm guessing that this category is added automatically, because I'm not sure what "sheerness" means in terms of a wind shield : ) Does anyone want a sheer windshield? LOL 5/5 ... If you have a 2020 or an NT1 - just buy it! It's a "must-have" accessory and you definitely won't be disappointed, whether you're using it in the studio or outdoors. Sure, it's not a "dead dog / dougal / wookie-condom", but it'll cope with a surprising amount of wind : ) You still reading reviews? Oh, just buy it already ; )

I have 4 AT2020s that I use for recording podcasts. The gooseneck popscreens I bought for them worked just fine, but people occasionally complained that they were tough to adjust or they couldn't see "around" them, so I tried to find an alternative. These filters seem to work just as well without taking up all the extra space and setup time. They fit snugly on the mics and cut down on harsh consonants/plosives quite well. I still want to test them out a bit more to do a full side-by-side with my popscreens, but I feel they'll match up quite well. Yes, they're a bit on the pricey side of things, but I believe you get what you pay for. I'm sure that my co-hosts being able to see me clearly without having to duck around the popscreen is reason alone to recommend these.
