50 years after their initial recording, the sessions for Wings One Hand Clapping will be released for the very first time. Discs 1 and 2 are newly mixed with 12 tracks that didn’t appear in the original film, including reworked extracts of Beatles classics. The package includes original artwork, plus a TV sales brochure created for the film. Review: It’s only rock and roll etc. - An excellent album if you’re a fan of Wings Review: Wings one hand clapping. - Excellent double cd would recommend this seller to everyone, many thanks again.

Paul McCartney & Wings at their finest. Recommended.
Paul McCartney, with Wings, was in my opinion his finest post-Beatles era. A superb combination of pop and rock. After the depressing days of law suits and break ups, Paul (encouraged by Linda) produced a body of exhilarating work that had a sense of adventure, experimentation and (yes) fun. They were also, as these live in the studio recordings prove, a great live act. Highly recommended.

If you’re of a certain age
Its Wings. What’s not to like. The fact this took 50 years to be released is ridiculous. I think the best line up was with Joe in 76, was their best, but this is up there as a great must have. We’ve had bits of it over the years but this is definitely something worth having.

This was recorded in 1974 and they appear to be rehearsing and finalizing songs for the Wings Over America tour. What you want to hear is really objective, but here is my list of what's worth listening to (multiple times) on each CD. From CD 1: Jet Soily Maybe I'm Amazed My Love Blue Bird Band on the Run Live and Let Die Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five From CD 2: Let Me Roll It Juniors Farm Go Now Hi, Hi, Hi The Beatles songs are only brief "snippets" so I won't go back for a second listen. There are a few songs that are not bad that I don't really care about such as Soily (OK rocker), My Love (a hit, but a bit too elevator), Go Now (so so). A lot of songs are obscure, piano based tunes. Hearing Wings begin to "polish up" completed hits like Jet, Maybe I'm Amazed, Band on the Run, Live and Let Die, etc., is well worth the price. However, it would make a better 1 CD release. This is a release you will listen to quite a lot. Great quality sound and different live, studio takes of hits. A lot of energy and you can tell they are having a great time rehearsing.

Excelente disco que recupera unas grabaciones históricas de las que sólo había versiones piratas. La calidad de la grabación es óptima y la presentación adecuada. Un repaso interesante a los primeros años de Paul en solitario.

If you’re a fan of Paul McCartney either as a Beatle, Wings or one of his other incarnations, you’ll love this timepiece. The recording is outstanding and the packaging is typical of a Digi pack. Whether a fan or not, it’s great music which I highly recommend.

I primi passi della migliore formazione dei Wings, con Jimmy McCulloch in aggiunta a Paul Linda e Denny Laine. Geoff Britton alla batteria per un breve periodo prima dell'arrivo di Joe English. Bel disco!
