10 FT Heavy Duty Flag Pole with 5 Pronges Base in Ground

The media could not be loaded. Northeast Ohio is home to wild weather all year round from tornadoes to blizzards. We’ve lost so many flagpoles over the last 7 years that I gave up being able to fly our American flag and Air Force flag, which really bummed me. I’m a flag person and was once part of a color guard team.Recently, I told my husband, “I wish there was a flag pole with prongs that you could stake into the ground like a shepherds hook so when the storms break the pole, you don’t have to worry about digging out concrete.”I wanted something simple…and cheap…that I wouldn’t mind having to replace every year if they kept breaking since commercial grade poles (the ideal option) are EXPENSIVE. I figured there was nothing out there like that, but I also knew that if it did exist, it would be on Amazon. Lo and behold, I found it! I looked and researched carefully before deciding on this one, the 10 ft. with solar light. It needed to be at least a 4 prong to have any chance in our storms. When it arrived, I was excited because I could tell immediately these were going to be strong pole sections. It was very simple to put together, and carrying it out to the spot I wanted it showed me how much heft is to the pole. It is very well made.The prongs settled deep into the ground with a little effort, but if you have super hard ground like we used to when we lived in the desert of California, this may not be for you unless you soak the ground for a day or two.I’ve always used a halyard for my flag poles, but the flag pole clips can easily slide should the flag have to go half-mast. I love that they’re rotating so the flag never gets wound up and twisted. In case you’re wondering, my flags are 3 x 5’s.The solar light is better than expected. Not super strong, but good enough for now. It’s more of a soft white light that illuminates just enough to see the flags. I might add additional spotlights, however.I was so impressed that I dared to buy another pole for my Air Force flag without seeing if the first one would last through storms. Again, easy to put together. Since it has to sit lower than the American flag, I simply left a section out. It is perfect.I waited to write the review until we went through several major storms first and wind storms. One of the storms brought tornadoes nearby and 50-60 mph winds. The flags waved furiously and the poles do sway from the height, but the poles also held strong. No bent parts and the poles did not unscrew or loosen themselves like some other reviews said. The key is probably having the right sized flag (because of the weight) for the pole and only having one flag per pole. I’ve done two flags on a single pole before in the past, and it snapped like kindling in a windstorm.These poles were a great find, they come with everything you need, you definitely get your money’s worth, and better yet, you’re not stuck with where you placed them as you would if they were concreted in! They’re affordable enough to have multiple if you want to display more than one flag.

This is an excellent product that prevents attaching flags to the house. The product works well and is affordable.

The flagpole was attractive and easy to install. The ordered a nice solar light to go with it and iunfortunately it didn't fit the flagpole and we had to return it. We then ordered a smaller solar light which was from the same company and it should fit! It did fit but the light was very dim and did not illuminate the flag as well as we had hoped. We found that if we left our outdoor on, that would be enough to help the little light illuminate the flag. We will probably buy another solar light to set on the ground and direct more illumination on the flag.

Good product. As advertised. Would be helpful if the “prongs” going into the ground were longer. It would be more secure. Seems adequate right now. Been up a week with decent wind!

Functional, good build quality. Very stable and ease of installation. Love the light and brightness for leaving up at night for properly honoring our flag. 🇺🇸 We will update at a later time to see if it upholds during high winds/storms.

The media could not be loaded. Well. It's up and it does hold a flag. We will see how long. It's a little flexible.

Delivery was quick. The assembly was very easy. This replaced a short wooden flag pole. I am very happy with the size. I believe the anchor will keep the flag in place during windy weather. My one concern is the gauge of metal. It’s not really flimsy but not super thick.

Its surprisingly sold for the price and looks good. Holds up good for a campsite flag pole.
