Super cute, can’t wait to sew

This book has so many cute ideas in it that I can't decide what to work on first!! Several different levels of difficulty and easy directions to go about copying the patterns. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get some cute ideas of things to sew.

I had this book on hold at the library, but it was so popular that I was at the end of a lengthy list waiting to get it. Not wanting to be well into my dotage before I got a chance to read it, I broke down and bought a copy, and I'm thrilled that I did. Sew Kawaii is well thought out and colorfully presented, with lots of in-progress and finished project photos (which is extremely important in a how-to book.) The projects are simple and simply adorable. The instructions are complete and comprehensible. My one quibble is that the patterns included are part of the book itself, rather than on separate sheets or perforated pages. This means that there is a high risk of (if not an absolute need for) breaking the spine of the book in order to scan a faithful copy of the patterns. I love my books, and having to wreck one to get full use of it bothers me greatly. That said, it's a fun book full of projects suitable for beginners, yet enticing to pros.

Absolutely WONDERFUL! I love this book so much! It has tons of things for beginners and intermediate crafters. You'll never have nothing to sew or be blank on ideas for gifts with this handy book. You can makes plushies, purses, dresses, and even hoodies! There are pictures for every step so you never get lost ^u^ I'd definitely buy from this author again!

My daughter is just learning to sew and she LOVES this book. Lots of fun stuffed animal projects to work on! It's pretty low on practical sewing projects...but what 8-year-old is interested in practicality?!

This book arrived on expected date. The patterns are easy to follow. I have already made several of them for family and friends. Will not be dissapointed.

if you buy this book dont buy this one ( Sew Your Own Pet Pillows: Twelve Huggable Friends You Can Easily Make (Design Originals) [Paperback] ) because there only 4 projects and 2 of the are already in sew kawaii and for 8$ its not worth it

I like this designer and follow her on Etsy she’s good! Was disappointed that after getting the book, I have to enlarge patterns 200%. Ugh Don’t like that part at all!

Ein tolles Buch mit wirklich netten Ideen wo sicher für jeden etwas passendes dabei ist. Perfekt um für Leute die schon alles haben ein ausgefallenes Geschenk zu zaubern. Was mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen hat ist dass die Schnittmuster direkt im Buch abgedruckt sind, ein herausnehmbarer Schnittbogen ist für meinen Geschmack leichter zu handlen. Pluspunkt ist natürlich dass so kein extra Schnittmusterbogen verloren gehen kann.

Consigliato a tutti quelli che amano creare con le proprie mani e a chi piace la cultura giapponose del kawaii! Un modello più bello dell'altro!

The book is full of really cute projects, with instructions, that are easy enough for my 10-year-old daughter to do. She has been taking sewing lessons, so she's not exactly a beginner, but she's not terribly advanced either. The book has held her interest and she is looking forward to making several of the projects, from purses to key chains to hats.

i love this book. its relay easy to make the things in this book. the frist time i made a hat ( with the pattern in the book) i only took an hour to make now i can make them (in clouding the time it takes to cut out the material ) half an hour. i recommend this book for beginners

Definitely for the experienced drafter/sewer, but super cute.
