The Plaud is a very good quality recording device and it is Worth Every Penny! It is small and goes unseen on the back of your cell phone. It is super lite and thin. The Plaud can stick to the back of an iPhone without the ring that is provided, but I strongly recommend using the ring because it makes the Plaud stick(magnetic) to your phone without NO chance of coming off! The recording quality is very good and the functionality is very simple also. The notes that are generated from your recordings are exceptional! I would definitely recommend this product!

The best thing I ever did!! This helps me immensely! I’ve used it to record Dr visits, attorney appointments, care planning for an ill parent. It remembers and even thinks for you. After recording a conversation it gives notes with suggestions of things to do, to address or fix whatever you were discussing. Incredible. Best piece of technology I’ve ever bought. It also records and types an exact transcript as well as the ai summary that thinks and problem solves

So far i'm throughly impressed with this product... I bought this just as a way to record important conversations that i could playback/analyze later, however this has become a medium for me to listen to and actually learn from audio books! What a fantastic way to gain more knowledge. The setup was quick, the device is super portable (fits in the phone wallet on the back of my iPhone), and it's pretty accurate. I had a Dr. Appt and my Mom is always asking me what the doctor said. I was able to pull up the Notes from the conversation and give her a detailed breakdown of his instructions. Truly remarkable device, Ive already recommended it to multiple friends

The Plaud Note AI Voice Recorder is excellent for what it does., which is record your meetings, lectures, etc and then apply AI to extract the most important information from that recording and present it to you in a variety of ways. To do this it uses prebuilt templates (you can do your own). You can get a summary, a todo list, and qualitative analysis, and so forth. I connects to real AI advanced pattern matching engines to do this. It can be a true time saver for sales people, I.T. people (me), students, administrators, or anyone needing to retain important information from a meeting. You get 5 hours a month for FREE. There are subscription plans offering minutes or unlimited if your needs require it. I was truly amazed. The one thing that caused me angst is it will not record a call, or a phone meeting if you are using a bluetooth headset. and that was the killer for me, as I do use one with ANC because my work environment can be noisy. I understand that Plaud is working to solve this and when they do, I will be a customer. For everyone else it is the quickest, most accurate way to retain the results of meetings, lectures etc. Sound quality is superb. You can play the sound file if you wish to do so. and the Plaud can record hours of meetings on a single charge. There are more positives than I can cover here. With the exception of the bluetooth headset inconvenience, highly recommended. Unfortunately the headset thing meant I had to return mine.

The Plaud Note has completely changed how I handle meetings. I run a lot of them and have always struggled to take notes while staying engaged with clients. In the past, I’d jot down key points and later build out meeting minutes—but that process always left gaps in the details. Now, with the Plaud Note, I can capture everything effortlessly. I usually don’t replay entire meetings unless I’m double-checking a transcription, but it’s great knowing I can. I don’t use Plaud’s transcription service regularly—I prefer exporting the recordings and uploading them into AI tools like Perplexity or Gemini, which I already subscribe to. Both handle the content really well. That said, Plaud’s own transcription service is impressive when I use the free minutes—it organizes discussions clearly and makes review easy. If their paid plan were more affordable, I’d happily switch full-time. Until then, my hybrid approach works perfectly. Overall, it’s an excellent product that’s made my workflow far more efficient. On the other hand, the Plaud Pin hasn’t been as reliable. Its recordings are inconsistent and sometimes fail entirely. The Plaud Note, in contrast, has been rock solid since day one. Pro Tip: I use a faux leather PopSocket wallet (not the plastic one), which fits great with my iPhone 15 Pro and holds the Plaud Note securely. The included case didn’t fit as well and had weaker magnets, so this has been a much better solution.

Husband uses this for school and could not be happier with the way it works. Very easy setup, records and types everything out for you. Light weight and does NOT have to stay attached to your phone to work. Great value for your money

Typically, transcripts of these calls are released by various companies, but they are only available 3-4 hours after the earnings call has concluded. I wanted to see if any devices could accurately transcribe these calls so I could review a transcript immediately afterward. After searching for a product that adequately suits my use case, I found PLAUD's device. I started reading about the product details and was initially impressed, so I purchased PLAUD's AI-enabled voice recorder. Here's what I learned after using the product: Pros: - The device holds an impressively long battery life - The design is sleek, modern, and pretty much goes unnoticed when mounted to the back of my phone - The output of both phone calls and lecture-like recordings/transcriptions exceeded expectations - The material of the device seems to be very durable, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend "testing" it - The software features are impressive, including templated analyses of each recording, an AI adaptive analysis of each recording, and mind maps for thought tracking Cons: - To gain complete and frictionless usability from the product, I had to sign up for a monthly PRO subscription to avoid perceived limitations with recording memory and gain access to advanced features - If you use this device in the workplace to help distill action items from meetings, check your organization's policies for recording meetings. This can hinder your perceived usage and may not justify the purchase of this device - The AI model may require some testing and training. This might not be for you if this is outside your initial expectations for the product and you expect immediate results from its robust features - The magnet that adheres to your phone and mounts the device is permanent. It's not a huge problem, but be cautious of where you apply the magnet because you'll need to purchase another one if it's mounted directly to your phone and you get a new phone, and the same with a phone case Recommendation: After using this product for a few months, I am delighted with its results, usability, and durability. I recommend this product to someone potentially in a classroom setting who seeks to revisit portions of a lecture later on. The AI-enabled output is impressive, but expect to take some time to work with the AI model to derive optimal output. Overall, this product is priced on the higher end, and if you are looking for the output as advertised, you'll likely need to purchase one of the tiered subscriptions. I do recommend this product, but I also recommend carefully anticipating how much you intend to use it before justifying the purchase.
