Took me some time ti identify the problem with my grandsons desktop, In the end ( having tried all the know problems that cause cycling, where the PC switches on and off constantly and won't post ) I replaced the power supply but took a chance on this product as the price was quite low. The item arrived in a day and after installing it the problem was solved ... my thoughts are this is a very good power unit for the money and most of all I have a happy Grandson .. I would recommend this item.

Only comes with one 6+2 pcie cable and another Another 8 pin but 4 go to the power for the cpu depending on your motherboard . In my case 4 pins went to the cpu which left me with a 8 pin and a 4 pin which left me with no cable to power my 14 pin gtx 980ti. Although this psu is highly recommended and performs good it lacks some cables depending on your situation.

Over the last few months, the PC that this psu was in failed a couple of times and after each fail, I had tto remove a component until the PC powered on and it finally failed last night. I had to remove multiple hard drives and the graphics card and sadly, lasty night, it finally it failed\ completely. I pulled out an old 9 year old PSU and connected it up, powered on and the PC and it came back to life. I noticed that the fan in the failed PSU never came and the case got WARM. The unit was on 24/7 which has never been a problem with my other rigs. Shame *update *new psu arrived today, PSU installed, connected all the chassi fans, added two hard drives back in (for cctv) and the pc powered up. Fan is working in the new PSU. Marvellous

The power supply works well and pat tested it before I turned it on in the computer, the problem with the power supplies a this price is Alot of people don't pick the right power supply for wattage with the parts they get, This power supply is the cheapest I'll go but you have to always do your research but this power supply works he shuts down if there's a problem light power supply should do.

I purchased this PSU to replace one that suffered a power surge and was "bricked." It seems very quiet and has very good connectivity, which installed easily. It's only been attached and woking for a couple of days, so it's early days yet to make a full assement, but seems very good value for money. Even though it's equipped with over/under voltage protection I decided to aslo purchase a serge protected extension, to add an extra level of protection to my PC and it's peripherals, from any future power serge risks.
