This stuff is awesome!!! I purchased a predominantly white rug for my kitchen knowing it would see heavy traffic and get filthy and wanted to protect it as specific design runners are hard to find. This absolutely did the trick! This pic is after treatment, heavy use, and washing! The rug still looks brand new, which is what I wanted! It has no odor, dries decently fast but that depends on how thick you spray it, easy to apply, and works great if used by directions, isn't sticky but does leave a film that you can feel, great price point for the type of product it is, and is very durable-the rug was down for over a month before washing. I now keep this on hand!

We had a sick dog and got this to help protect an area rug. We sprayed it liberally on the 8' x 6' rug before going to bed and it was dry by morning. There us still enough in the can for touch-ups. No tell-tale smell. No film on the feet when you walk across it. It did not alter the color of the carpet or damage it in any way. It has done the trick on wet or dry messes, making them easier to clean up. I would recommend this product. I think you could use it on furniture as well.

I recently used this to protect my furniture and rugs, and while it has some great qualities, it’s not quite the stain-blocker I was hoping for. It’s super easy to apply and doesn’t leave any sticky residue or discoloration, which is a big plus. I’ve noticed it helps liquids bead up instead of soaking in, giving me a little extra time to clean up spills. However, it doesn’t completely block stains—especially with more persistent messes like coffee or juice. The protection feels more like a “first line of defense” rather than full-proof stain prevention. Overall, it’s good for maintaining your fabrics and adding a layer of protection, but don’t rely on it as your only shield against tough stains.

I order this stuff primary because it is odor free!! A lot of the other one out there have a very strong odor that has had my entire family complaining and lingers for over 24 hours. Using this product is very simple. It doesn’t drip or run. The product is a foam so I usually shake the can and apply following a lined pattern. I have never experienced any discoloring. I also appreciate that any overspray doesn’t leave the slick surface on the surrounding floors like some other products have. Very satisfied with the resistance and quality. Have bought several times and will continue to buy. Definitely recommended.

Easy to use. No smell. No notice of inhalant - No fog of it to the face like bug spray does or spray sunscreen. No bleeding issues in this rug, did a test spot. Rug came away same as before the spray, didn't feel or look too different, maybe a little loss in softness but that may adjust as the spray is still less than 24 hours on. Can't speak to actual stain guard at this point so far, a good purchase. It did cover a good area. My rug is bigger than 5x7 so I will need a second can. Wanted to test one before getting a second. Items I've had professionally Scotchguarded was worth the expense so I think this will be a good investment. It is sort of like a spray paint nozzle so my hand got sore before finishing but I just took breaks in spraying.
