This converter jack plugs securely into the USB-C port in my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone with no trouble. In the open port on the other end, I plugged my wired earphones into. The sound was clear, rich, without static, and made my listening enjoyable, whether I listen to something from my Amazon Music Playlist or the sound from another app on my phone. I had asked a local computer repair guy what he recommended for this purpose, and this item is exactly what he bought himself for connecting wired earphones. Although I have my wireless earbuds, sometimes I want to listen through my wired earphones so I dont get out of range of my phone. The price seems fair, and the quality of sound using wired earphones with this converter is as rich & full as if I were in the middle of the music studio. Yes, I would recommend it, and would buy it for a friend or family member if the need arose.
