HP00 HP01 New Remote Control Replacement for Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Fan Purifying Heater, Part NO.967197-13 (Only for Sliver)

I used the correct battery type and it didn’t work at all. No programming instructions are included with the remote, and the product description says no programming required, yet it still didn’t work…

We have the Dyson heat/cool fan. The only way to change the setting is with the remote which the original was misplaced. I was surprised to find this replacement remote, and was quickly delivered. When I opened the package there wasn't a battery in it. I went back to the description and found it didn't include a battery but told the type. I put in the new battery and it still didn't work and discovered you have to slip in a blade to hold down the clip and then insert the battery then the battery drawer. Works great now. Complicated but sure glad it saved the fan.

To replace a lost one. A waste of money.

Works just ok for my fan/ heater. It isn't strong enough to work from my chair but works ok when I lean sideways a bit
