Great for home business
Ubnt great small business network equipment. This UXG lite was perfect for my home business setup. Great price for what it can do.

Works well and was easy to replace my failed usg-3p

Needs to be factory reset on every power loss
Every time the device would lose power I have to factory reset it. Doesn't matter if the controller is up and running it not.

Great value, but it has some limitations.
It works. It does the job. But it's not even capable of running a speed test because the hardware inside of it is so slow and limited. Nightly speed tests are important to me to verify things are actually working.

Quoting another review. They said it perfectly: Apparently this cannot actually function as a router by itself, you need some form of controller. Given that a Cloud gateway ultra is only $60 more and has a controller built in, and a controller is going to cost more then $60 unless you happen to already have one, I don't see much of a use case for this product.

The Ubiquiti Uni-fi system is tough to beat as a platform for small business networks. I have a number of deployments of this gateway with cloud keys and PC based controllers. Ton of features for the price.
