Great for the price
***Edit: I've just realized that I was sent the original Aurvana Ace and not the Aurvana Ace 2. I won't remove any stars because I imagine the 2nd edition is even better, and it wouldn't be fair to review the product poorly for a seller's mistake, but as the originals I received are $30 cheaper than what I ordered, that is an unfortunate mistake that I almost lost my chance to rectify by virtue of time. I'll be returning these and ordering directly from the manufacturer. TLDR; If you want excellent crisp sound quality including strong bass at a good price and don't care about frills like Magsafe or metal construction then these fit the bill. I've never heard bass like this in earbuds. As others note, when you download the Creative app and tweak the settings these sound great. Incredibly clear and great differentiation of instruments. Headphones and case are plastic and lightweight but that's not surprising when they're $50 cheaper than Airpods Pro with the coupon. My last earbuds were Airpod Pros so that's my comparison and these sound better, especially in terms of bass and what I would call soundscape, probably from that special chip they advertise. They also stay in my ear better, I think because they are so light. I needed specially bought XL earbuds for the Airpods and these fit fine with the included L tips. Have been using these for a week now and battery life is quite satisfactory. Used for hours around the house and no low battery warnings. Bummed there is no Magsafe charging but it makes sense given the price.

Sounds Great and You NEED to Download the App
First, you NEED to download the app to get these earbuds to sound great! They sound AWFUL right out of the box, so you will need to do this. Why the instructions don’t have a QR code, is beyond me. Nor do the instructions mention anything about the app! Why?!?! I have included a photo of what the app looks like in the App Store because it is almost impossible to find if you try searching for it. If you can't find it, you will need to Google on your phone the name of the ear buds, which is Creative Aurvana Ace 2. From there, click on the official Creative weblink, and it will take you to the page where the direct link can be found for both Apple and Android devices. Download it from there, select EQUALIZER, and it will take you to all the sound profiles to choose from, which sound sound lousy right off the bat. You will need to go through all the presets and change the bass and treble on each one to really get the sound to shine. I can't recommend a certain sound profile with the bass and treble settings because it is very subjective for each person. With all that being said, I was hesitant to buy these with only three reviews at the time of this review. A simple YouTube search for the model will yield several reviews which were mostly good, and the user reviews there are the reason I even bought these. Now for the pros and cons of these earbuds: PROS: Sound is great once you download the app, and customize each sound profile. I love that there is so much customization from ear tip size, and all the other customizable options to choose from on the app. On the app, under CUSTOM BUTTONS, you can select the double tap and triple tap options for the earbuds. For example, if I want to double tap the right or left side of my earbuds to have a certain option, I would select it there. The options to choose from are PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS TRACK, NEXT TRACK, AMBIENT CONTROL, and VOICE ASSIST. I haven't used the ambient control yet, and will update this review when I actually use it. The ambient control is supposed to make it so you do not have to take your earbuds out in order to hear someone talk. Voice assist summons Siri, on iPhones. I don't know how that works on Android phones because I have never owned one. Also, you can search on YouTube to watch review videos, and learn much more from users who have used these functions. Also, I have gone through countless third party air buds, including all the Apple AirPod versions, and these earbuds sound so much better than those. I refuse to own another pair of AirPods because some of mine didn't even last a year before they wouldn't charge anymore. Waste of money! Also, you can download from the app on your phone for the latest firmware versions, as Creative comes out with new ones. I can only guess Creative puts out improved drivers from time to time to possibly make these sound even better, or to add more options on the app, although I could be wrong on that. They also come with three different ear tips to customize them for your ear size. Another great point is they are semi-comfortable when sleeping on your side. I wish they would be more comfortable for sleeping for me because I always wear my ear buds when sleeping at night so I can listen to podcasts, and audio books, Also, sound quality on the mic is very good. Callers tell me I sound normal, and not like I am on earbuds. CONS: As mentioned previously, the instructions are horrible and DO NOT tell you to download the app, nor is there a QR code to scan in order for your phone to take you to the point where you can download the app. Also, another con, and very important to note is, these come with a clear, transparent sticky film under the stems which are very difficult to see. The instructions DO NOT tell you those are even there. Because these are very difficult to see, if you don't remove them, your ear buds WILL NOT pair. I tried many, many times to pair to my iPone 15 Pro Max, and they wouldn't pair. My husband also tried on his Android phone, and nothing. I contacted Creative support before returning these to Amazon, and was told about the clear, transparent film needing to be removed. Once I removed those, they paired flawlessly. Also, once the earbuds are fully charged, the battery life in the earbuds as advertised, isn't great compared to other earbuds at this price point, and even the lower priced ones. It's not a deal breaker, but is definitely something to note. Another thing that is kind of a pain, is at least on my ear buds, is when you double tap, triple tap, or long tap, the earbuds don't always respond to that. I feel like I am beating a drum to try and get them to respond about half of the time. Also, one feature I would like to hear is a small, audible beep when tapping a command, with the exception of voice assist because the music pauses when Siri comes on. Also, with the ambient control option, a voice does come on to tell you when it is off and on. Beeps for the volume control WOULD be nice so I can tell how many notches the volume is changing, so I can fine tune it. Also, I wish there was a tap option to make a call, and as of now, I have to pick up my phone to manually make a call. I hope Creative will see this review, and offer that option when they upgrade the app and drivers. Another minor complaint is, when calling someone on my phone, the volume goes way down, so I have to really turn up the volume on the earbuds, or manually on my phone, in order to hear the caller. I really wish the volume would be consistent to the volume level already selected. That part, at least for me, really sucks to be honest. All in all, despite the cons, I am happy with these earbuds, and they are the best ones of the many I have owned. So far, as the sound is great, and I love all the customization options. I gave this review four stars because of the instructions being horrible and not telling you to download the app, as well as not telling you to remove the clear, transparent sticky film, as stated previously in this review. I also gave it four stars because of the cons listed above. I do hope CREATIVE sees this review and does the upgrades I have previously mentioned.

AVOID THE GAMBLE
1st set had connectivity issues as well as right earbud not charging first time opening. My second pair replacement has now started doing the same. Right earbud stays connected even while in charging case. Thus it won't charge, it's always dead. At least once a week I had to reset the device and forget devices on phone to get it to connect. When they do work, the sound is very good for what they are. Noise cancellation is mediocre, anything like a breeze while walking cuts it in and out and creates a white noise sound AVOID THE GAMBLE. Don't buy these.

What Creative has achieved in a $200 earbud is remarkable. The xMEMs driver and aptx adaptive enables a well-balanced, rich and deeply satisfying, audiophile experience at a budget friendly price point. I am receiving 24 bit 96 hz audio on Android via Bluetooth and when I pair them with the Creative BT-W5 USB Bluetooth adapter they get the same audio specs on a PC, Mac, and iPhone 15. But forget about specs, and just focus on how they sound, which is arguably as good or perhaps one degree better than the AirPods Pro 2. There is virtually no other earbud that can perform better than the AirPods Pro 2 within the Apple ecosystem, but the Aurvana Ace 2 combined with the Creative USB to Bluetooth adapter is right there and has the added benefit of sounding amazing with all your other non-apple devices. You must download the Creative app in order to benefit from the EQ settings that will make this earbud shine. You’ll need to tweak the EQ settings to find your preferred sound signature, and oh boy, you’ll find it in spades. Whether you are a bass head or prefer a sound signature with more detail you will find it in the settings. You can even use it for gaming in low latency mode if that’s your thing though it’s not quite as good as a dedicated gaming headset. The active noise cancellation is pretty good overall, as is ambient mode, which allows you to listen to music and be aware of your surroundings. Not as good as the industry leading AirPods, but certainly as good as Sony for Ambient mode, but perhaps not quite as good as Sony’s WH-1000 XM5’s ANC. Two minor improvements are that they could have added wireless charging, and for some reason, placing the earbuds in the charging case are reversed so you have to rotate the earbuds 180 degrees before placing it in the case. Lastly, the plastic materials do not feel premium and can slip from your hands, but all of these are a relatively minor trade off where you experience how good your music sounds. I have tested them with Tidal HD and Amazon Music HD which take advantage of the high res aptx adaptive encoding and they’re amazing. A little less so on Apple Music due to Apple’s AAC encoding but still quite good. The Aurvana Ace 2 on its own is 4/5, and when combined with the Creative BT-W5 Bluetooth adapter, a solid 4.5/5. These are an absolute must purchase at their price point.

Bought this to try new MEMS technology. Was not disappointed. However every other features are bad. Orientation of buds is weird in case. ANC is bad. Passthrough feature is bad.

I definitely like this earbuds sound. Unfortunately , I keep on losing them out of my ears come up because they don't stick very well. I tried different rubber tips. Disease free audio file headbutts a nice sound just out of the box. The app for them is it must have though. It provides you with an additional equalizer and easier access to the noise canceling modes. Even though I had them for a relative short period of time , I already had charging problems. Luckily I found out, that the problem was , that I just needed to clean the contacts rubbing alcohol.

Los audífonos tienen un sonido natural espantoso, sin embargo, responden muy bien a la ecualización por lo que no sé como clasificarlos
