1418C Water Container with Cap and Tap, Transparent, 25 Litre

The tap assembly was sellotaped onto handle. I fill Ed with water and it was leaking from around the threaded area, when checked there wasn’t any form of rubber or fibre washer to act as seal. Sorted through my bits and pieces at home and in the garage after having first check the vast amount of wasteful packaging an found a rubber washer that is working but not the correct fit. Going away on Thursday and need this down my paddocks for the person feeding my livestock so not really enough time to send back for replacement. Annoyed and disappointed.

Good size. Probably max weight to carry. Leaks from the vent on top until water is dispensed.

good strong container. The plastic is very thick and the tap is good but needs to be put on tight as there was a leak.

Unfortunately, I had marked the can in permanent marker pen before using it today or I would have returned it. The cap leaks and no amount of tightening will stop it. We ended with a boot full of water and a near empty water container. I suspect it should have a seal in the cap but there is none. It is a terrible piece of equipment, save your money, buy something else.

This water container with tap is exactly what one would expect it to be but for one rather serious fault. Its screw cap does not have an internal rubber washer, so as soon as one tilts the container to let water out by the tap it drips copiously out around the screw thread of the cap, whether the tap is open or closed. If the container is standing inside the tailgate of your car, for instance, it will wet the inside of the car. If there should have been a rubber washer but it was missing from the one sent to me this is a quality control and inspection problem. If there is no provision for a rubber washer it is a fatal design fault. Perhaps there is room for a washer, if you can find the right size, but I am a very busy 24/7 carer, so I have had no time to find out. Eric Franklin

Would be 5 stars, as it's an excellent tank, but the sealing washer in the lid falls out VERY easily. Nearly lost the thing on the first fill.. drop of superglue fixes this, but annoying.
