Christmas gift for my son (8). He loved it and was so proud putting something together and hearing music etc work. He then asked how do radios even work. We watched a short video how they work and thought it would be a great idea if they put in a 1pg. tutorial of how they work in these kits to help understand and learn.

It seems like it wouldn't work or sound like poop, but this is a good quality. The build, instructions and overall sound are good. Not amazing but good. It was easy to build, wish it came with a screwdriver but what can you do? 10/10 would recommend

My 9 y/o son got this as a stocking stuffer at Christmas, and he started putting it together right away. The radio has shockingly good reception and sound. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. My son loves it. Finally a practical STEM kit that can be enjoyed time after time.

I purchased this little radio kit and set it quickly as there are just a few parts. I really didn't need any special tools as it can be put together just jusing your fingers. A needlenose pliers and a phillips screwdriver may make it a bit easier but not by much. The only benefit from the tools would be to get the kid to get some experience using them. The kit contains an exact number of screws to mount the speaker, antenna, and battery holder. Dont lose any. What would make this better would be a wiring diagram, this would help students if they are learning to use a multimeter (sold separately) I believe this kit is age appropriate as there are few connections. The only negative I found was where they expect u to place the the battery holder on the outside of the box. I hope this helps 😀

My Grandson thinks this is the coolest thing. Says he’s keeping it forever. Works incredibly well.Easy to assemble. Great project. In this age of streaming it’s a refreshing alternative.

Bought for my son. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger, but it is a great product. My son built it himself and the sound quality is pretty good for a kit. He has fun building it himself and having it work just as it was supposed to made his day. The pieces are a little fragile, but overall it's a great product.
