I have been using this for a bathroom renovation and it is great. The sections went together fine and the bracket slides easily over the connections. It is been very easy to mount and remove the level as needed. It seems more than sturdy enough to support the level. The case had plenty of room for this kit and I was able to include the tripod that came with the level. So far for me this has been a great addition. I plan to use it for plenty of other projects. Right now I am building a 1933 Ford 3 window coupe and this will help find centerline of entire car. Lots of uses for the level that’s for sure.

This tool has helped me many times. No problem hitting the right elevation and I have 9 foot ceilings. Great tool to help me layout and install shelves in a big pantry. So much better than a tripod.

Laser is perfect, I bought it to compare with other brands in our metal fabrication shop, we do a lot of architectural in commercial and residential projects. The installers asked for more of these lasers. Tripod is not useable for field work because it’s too wobbly but will work for home projects

Sturdy enough, would prefer the legs spread out a little further, but not a deal breaker. Everything fits together well. The bubble level is tiny, bit it works. It gets close enough for the laser to self level.

Had a el-cheapo laser-level before that was more pain in arse to set up than it was worth. Got this one based on the reviews and so far I am not disappointed. Bright, accurate (checked the plum-bob feature with a 4 foot level and dead-on perfect!), easy to setup. Exactly what I was looking for. Got a stand for it as balancing it on a board becomes a bit of a problem -- if you use one of these more than a couple of times, get one too.

Tripod didn’t seem steady enough to hold laser level. Wanted to tip over when level wasn’t directly over a leg of the tripod. Was not impressed with overall design as had to use all lengths of pole and brace against ceiling in order to use. If using outside, there’s no ceiling to help balance tripod.

Works great, but the threads on the ends of the poles are aluminum and they can get bound together so that you can't unscrew them. Before you use it for the first time, put a dab of anti-sieze on the threads and you'll be good for life.
