Great value, sturdy and secure for my chicken coop
I used this hardware cloth to reinforce and secure our chicken coop, and I’m happy with how it turned out. The roll was honestly a bit bigger and heavier than I expected when it first arrived, but in a good way... it felt like a solid value right out of the gate. One thing I specifically looked for was that it’s galvanized after welding, and this one is. That’s important for keeping it from rusting and for overall safety. Once I got it cut and installed, it’s held up great. I haven’t had any breaks or issues since then. That said, trimming and smoothing the edges was no joke. The cut ends can be pretty sharp and tough to work down. I used a Dremel to try to smooth the edges, which helped some, but it did throw little shards of metal that you’ve gotta clean up right away... definitely not something you want around chickens or bare feet. If I could do it again, I might go one gauge thicker just for a little more strength, but the flip side is this was easier to bend and work with. It’s tough stuff and held shape well once installed. Also, I really appreciated the 4 ft height whichmade it way easier to work with without needing to overlap smaller sections, which would’ve been a huge hassle. All in all, strong material, good quality, great coverage. It’s doing the job and I’d definitely go with this one again.

It really works and easy install
Really works great. We had many gophers and we decided to use lots of this over the entire front yard. We did overlap by 12 inches as I was in fear of more gopher seeking in. After 6 months I’ve seen no sign. Thank you

Garden fencing
Use for my garden and is holding up well. Fast shipping good quality. Be careful the edges are sharp if you cut the roll.

Good for yard uses
I used this to cover the space between the bottom of a fence and the ground, and between the bottom of the gates and the sidewalk. It staples easy to the wood slats and withstands the cats, squirrels, and small creatures trying to come onto the property from the alley behind my house .

Chicken wire fencing being successfully used as a gutter "leaf guard" ...
This chicken wire fencing works perfectly for the project for which I bought it. And the total cost of the project was less than $25 (actually many hundreds of dollars less than what the gutter manufacturer's solution would have cost). I installed the chicken wire fencing as a "leaf guard" on a 24-foot 5" house gutter. In addition to the fencing, I also used five #8x1/2" gutter screws with washers properly sized for both the fencing and the screws and I also used about 30 feet of boxing tape. I used the boxing tape on the side of the fencing that I was planning on sliding under the roof's asphalt shingles just to make sure the fencing wouldn't damage the shingles. I used the gutter screws and washers to securely fasten the fencing to the outer lip of the gutter (this method of attaching the fencing would allow for an easy removal of the fencing in the future if that became necessary for some reason). It's been some months now since the installation and as of yesterday (15 Dec, when I checked to see how the fencing was working) there was not a single leaf in the gutter even though the roof was littered with leaves. I watched for a while to see how it was working. The leaves would just slide down the roof to the gutter where they then would just slide of the edge of the gutter/fencing. In any case I'm glad I made the purchase and would be glad to do it again.
