This solves a lot of problems. I replaced my regular stopper (which did not stop the water from leaking down the drain although it fit tightly and did not catch refuse) with a strainer which was a very nice product. However, it did not solve the problem of water running down and I had to remove the sink rack each time I wanted to empty the strainer. Also, when I wanted to fill the sink, I had to put the old stopper in which was terribly ineffective at keeping the water in the basin This stopper solved both problems in that it has a strainer and a stopper combined. It has an elegant appearance and works just as elegantly. I highly recommend it.

Easy installation over my food disposal. The seal to hold water works good. The strain part does drain well enough but a bit slow for my liking. BUT does deep all the small pieces of food from slipping in between so it's forgivable. Definitely worth it's value.

It’s fine. It works well. But only lasts about a year before we had mold growing. I’m buying another but just be aware it’s not a long term solution.

It’s simple, it works great, and looks nicer than the crusty one that came with my apartment. It held water for 30 minutes while I cleaned my surfaces and drained fast as advertised. I really like the simplicity of the push system to plug or drain. It’s a perfect fit for my sink, and if you’re not using the strainer for whatever reason, it sticks to the wall of the sink which I thought was a cool plus. I did see someone else say that they couldn’t lay stuff flat in their sink because of the handle. While that is true, it is easy just to remove the strainer basket (and stick it to the wall of the sink hehe) to do whatever you gotta do with a flat sink. I really do recommend this sink stopper!

This worked good with the exception of the middle stopper sticking up and being to easy to release the water in the sink. I don't want my sink to drain when I place bigger plates and large cooking pans into it because they always press down on the stopper which sticks up. It was easy to install, fit nicely and looked good but having the water drain while doing dishes was quite irritating.

Works better than advertised and I love them. Great replacement for the typical baskets that go in the drain

UPDATE: After 9 months, the mechanism has stayed intact. My conclusion is that it wasn’t tight enough when the drain left the factory. Concerns about the longevity of the mechanism and apparent mildew on the seal remain. However, given the cost of the item I have bumped the rating to 3 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: .We got the new strainer a week ago, and installed it the same day. The fit was good, installation was quite easy, and it worked perfectly. I realized that the plastic spring loaded stopper mechanism would not provide long life, but figured we could get a few years out of it. This evening the plastic cap that holds the spring and "bounce device" came off. I was able to thread it back on with some difficulty, but was only able to get it finger tight. The mechanism that clicks the drain seal into place is quite similar to what is in a ballpoint pen, and equally lightweight. I also saw that the main seal was getting a but scuzzy. Bottom line was that we will be checking the tightness of the plastic retainer cap somewhat frequently, cleaning the seal regularly, and buying an all metal version when the plastic mechanism breaks in a year or two. I did see that the same company sells an “all metal” version of this stopper, but that description is quite misleading; the strainer basket is stainless but the photos show the mechanism to be the same plastic.

It works great ... it catches debre and drains well easy to lift out and push down to block drain

Only have it for a day. So far so good as it does what it is supposed to do. A little concerning with the logitivities of the washers. Hopes this product stays around and have replacmernt washers available at reasonable price.

Works, but doesn't keep a seal when plugged slowly let's water through

This product is pretty cool, and when you first see it, you get a good sense of how it works. But, sadly, after a month, the plastic starts to degrade, and you can tell it’s not as durable as it seems. After five months, the pop-up doesn’t work anymore, and you can’t use it, and you will go back to dirt cheap ones!

This product comes in two basic parts - the drain cover and the drain stopper. The drain cover pops right into the sink easily and as a product on its own upgrades the sink with an elegant finish. Do note the colour finish matches your sink - there are many different sink finishes and it may clash. The drain stopper is detachable but is able to drain water from the sink if installed on top, making either installation options available. Installation was quick and easy, upgrading the sink from the stock drain and stopper combo to an elegant and polished finish
