Wow, I absolutely love these salted caramel bars. The people that worked out how to make this confection are absolute geniuses. These are not Mars Bars but definitely part of that family and - for a type two diabetic like me - it is so clever how they can reduce the sugar level down so low and still keep them tasting so delightful. The salted caramel taste is just right without dipping a little too far into that savoury zone like others tend to do. These are a perfect occasional treat for my palate and could not be any better. Economics play very little part in it if I can get my hands on bars as goods as these. The confectionery boffins at Mars are on to an absolute winner by creating these with their phenomenologically impressive wizardry. Eamonn

Genuinely good
2G sugar per bar, 18G protein per bar, no ridiculously jaw enduring chewiness, no powdery crumbly taste. Thick layer of caramel masks most of the usually tough shell that all protein bars carry. Better than Grenade, Optimum and USN bars I've previously had. I'm also a nut/sesame allergy sufferer and have 0 issues with this bar.

Bizarre flavour under chocolate coating. Basically weird and chalky and dense at the same time. Very disappointing as the snickers low card / high protein bars are really good.
