Very useful piece of equipment when you prefer to use a mouse and are limited for space as it gives you an extra little desk bit which is very useful for your mouse. A sturdy bit of kit and very comfortable .All in all good value for money.

I've bought a few trays looking for something I can use consistently but they're always too thick or too heavy or the angles are wrong. Initially, I picked up the Targus version of this style of tray but I found myself disappointed. Laptops and keyboards weren't stable and mice were making spirited attempts to escape the mouse tray at speed. The idea is good so I kept looking until I found this. It's spot on for what I need and is everything my empty soul has been longing for. The two big grippy bits on the main tray face hold devices in place perfectly with no annoying rotation or slippage as you type. But I was most pleased with the mouse deck. Not only is it available on either side but it has a simple strip of grippy stuff along the bottom edge (only right facing). This alone is enough to arrest the motion of even the most active of rodents and prevents their escape into furniture. Lastly, considering the difference in price is only a few quid, the quality over the Targus is massive. The mouse deck on this tray feels a lot more solid and I feel like I can safely rest my hand on it

I’ve been using the AboveTEK Portable Laptop Lap Desk for a while now, and it’s been really convenient for working from my sofa or bed. The lap desk feels sturdy and stable, and I like that it has retractable mouse trays on both the left and right sides, which is great for either left or right use but you can only have one side out at a time. The non-slip surface keeps my laptop secure, and the heat shield helps keep things cool during long sessions. It’s also lightweight enough to carry around for travel. My only small complaint is that the mouse trays can feel a bit tight with larger mice, but overall, it’s a great product that makes working from anywhere more comfortable.

This neat little tray has become the cornerstone of my remote work and gaming set up and is a great daily driver for those who don't get on with traditional desks! It has been in heavy daily (8-10 hours per day, sometimes 7 days per week) use for almost 2 years now and has travelled abroad with me 5 times too. After all this time it is still going strong and the only real signs of wear are a slight warping of the mouse tray from where it rests against my leg - but as I use a stationary rollerball mouse that's no problem for me. It is sturdy, light weight and low profile - the rubber backing on the main part of the tray stops anything sliding around and the rubber band on the bottom of the mouse tray stops the mouse sliding off when moving the tray around. I usually sit with a cushion underneath it to balance it across my lap fully but the rounded edges are comfortable enough for use without where needed. For daily use I use this as a keyboard and mouse tray, allowing me to move around as I work by resting it wherever needed. It also functions really well as a laptop tray - the divets on the surface encourage airflow and prevent too much overheating. It is genuinely sturdy enough that it has temporarily doubled as a seat during my travels too!

Doesn't appear to be much ventilation, laptop still gets hot and the mouse pad is way too smooth and slippery. Really hard to keep mouse steady when clicking.

Have used this item very quite a few years. It is perfect for the job which is why I must have bought six or so over the years.

It's well made, easy to use and the mouse tray can open on either side. I'd fully recommend this to anyone as it avoids the issue of blocking vents on laptops which causes overheating and fluff/dust build up inside from placing laptops on duvets, laps etc. It's also good if you want to place a wireless keyboard and mouse on your lap allowing you to relax in an office chair, slightly back from your desk/monitors. The one, slight, but annoying issue is that the mouse pad is so incredibly slippery that you have to keep the tray completely flat to avoid the mouse sliding off. I've solved this by placing a mouse pad on the tray, cut to fit. It would be perfect if the tray had a really thin fabric or less slippy rubber/plastic coating. I bought my own adhesive plastic coating to try that, but it was so sticky the mouse would barely move at all.

出張での現場仕事（デスクを与えられずフィールドに椅子だけ）で14インチのノートＰＣとトラックボールだけで2営業日に渡って資料書き。70Pほどの資料をこの膝上テーブルだけで書きました。テキストだけでなく図も多数。程よい重さと剛性、表面処理でノートＰＣもトラックボールも滑り落ちることなく利用できます。 それにお盆のようにノートＰＣ一式を何か台になるようなもの（例えば段ボールとか）にさっとまとめて置いて、他の調べものをしたり配線作業をしたりと普通だったらばらばらになってしまうから液晶を閉じてその上にトラックボールだったりペンだったりをのっけて対処し、またＰＣを使うとなったら上にのっかっているものをどかして画面を開いて・・・という作業をすることなく、すぐに作業復帰できるので快適でした。 ちょっと重さがあるので荷物的には重量が気になるところはありますが、マウスパッド部を左右に引き出せる構造や、この剛性の高さを考えると致し方が無いし、むしろ重さが無いと膝上で安定しないのでは？と思います。鞄の中に入れても仕切り板として鞄そのものの形状を維持できるし、ノートＰＣの画面天板側の保護もできそうだしこれは出張作業のときに手放せない逸品になりそうです。
