A person can go 3 days without water. This is one of six different ways I have to procure suitable drinking water. It comes in a small bottle. A must for every backpack.

These arrived quickly and the directions on the bottle say the tablets kill 99.9% of all bacteria, even Giardia. The bottle also says that one tablet will clean up to 4 gallons of water! have not used these yet, but from past experience … they store for years and years. 100 tablets!

Seem to be doing the trick. We are using them in the tank of our rowing machine. Manufacturer suggested changing the water when it started to stink. It's a pain to empty and refill so hoping I can get several moths out of the water by treating it with these.

I’ve never had to use them, but if there’s an emergency, I have them and many gallons of stored water. Seems like a good idea to me.
