As described
Looks very nice, like a large ball bearing. It has a strong pull although I haven't measured it and 4 kg sounds about right. It's possible but not very easy to pull it away from steeI with your fingers. I like the shape because you're much less likely to get your fingers nipped than with a flat end. It wasn't strong enough to satisfactorily demonstrate Lenz's law falling through a copper pipe (It did have some effect, but not very impressive) so unfortunately I'll have to buy a stronger one.

Very strong, very good quality.
Very strong, took me by surprise. Used to demonstrate Lenz law, works very well. The packaging was brilliant, keeper plates, plastic box, foam etc etc. Highly recommended.
