IMALENT BL50 Rechargeable EDC Flashlight Packs A Lot of Punch
The IMALENT BL50 is hands-down of the best EDC flashlight I’ve ever used. From its blinding 3600-lumen output to its intuitive OLED display, this compact powerhouse checks every box for everyday carry and emergency use. The large OLED display is a standout feature, providing real-time information on brightness level, battery status, voltage, and lock/unlock status. It’s incredibly helpful to see exactly which mode I’m in and how much power I have left—no more guessing or surprise shut-offs. The display even shows charging progress and a hot warning, which adds peace of mind during extended use. Operating the BL50 is a breeze. The dual-switch design (tail and side) makes it simple to toggle between six brightness levels and the UV mode. Locking and unlocking the flashlight is as easy as a triple-click, and the controls are responsive without being overly sensitive. The user interface is straightforward, making it perfect for both flashlight enthusiasts and newcomers alike. With a maximum output of 3600 lumens, the BL50 lights up even the darkest environments and throws a beam up to 428 meters. The six brightness levels (ranging from 5 to 3600 lumens) give you complete control, whether you need a gentle moonlight mode for reading or full turbo for outdoor adventures. The high-efficiency circuit ensures consistent brightness without flicker, and the stepdown from turbo to lower modes is smooth and well-managed. Other Highlights - Fast USB-C charging—full charge in about 1.5 hours - Rugged, compact, and lightweight design (just 158g with battery) - UV mode for inspections, stain detection, and more - Excellent battery life, lasting up to 12 days on the lowest setting - Durable aircraft-grade aluminum construction and IPX8 waterproof rating In summary the IMALENT BL50 combines cutting-edge technology, user-friendly design, and unmatched performance in a pocket-sized package. The OLED display, ease of operation, and powerful lumen output make it a must-have for anyone who wants reliability and innovation in their everyday carry. Highly recommended—definitely a five-star flashlight!

Awesome but HOT little light
I have blacked out the windows in my office to get rid of the hot sun getting it hotter than it needs to be. With that said, sometimes I need more light than my displays can give me and more directed light than my ceiling light can provide. This little light is perfect for the job. 5 Lumen (they call it moonlight) is pretty dim but could be used for reading and is the default if the top button is pushed once. UV light, double tap the top button, is really powerful. I have a larger UV light that I use to see if our old cat is missing the box and this thing puts that to shame. It does get hot even with the UV light on so do not touch the front of this thing To get to the other brightness settings do the following Tap the top button once, now push and hold the back button until it changes to 200lm. If you want brighter, hold the back button in again until the display shows 600lmn. Repeat the process for 1200lm and 2000lm. To keep the brightness setting just tap the back button to turn it off. Tapping the back button again will turn it on at the last setting. To get the full lumen, or the turbo setting, double tap the back button and the display should read TURBO 3600lm. Keep in mind, the higher you go the hotter this thing will get and the faster the battery will die. One thing that kind of bugs me is the flap that seals the USB C plug. Its tight getting a cable plugged into it but at least its sealed so if you ever drop this in a puddle or something it should not fry itself. It can be set on its top (so the screen faces down) and will be pretty steady like that and it comes with a wrist strap and a USB-C to USB-C cable. If you do not have a spare USB-C charger you can just use any USB-A to USB-C cable you already have, even your phone charger will work. I have a PC with a 60w powered USB-C port and when I plugged this light in I was notified it was fast charging which is also nice.

Imalent - Great Stuff
This is an interesting flashlight. In my book Imalent gives you the brightest illumination and the absolute finest user interface. What makes the BL50 interesting is that there doesn’t seem to be a great difference between “High” at 2,000 lumens and “Turbo” at 3,600. The only practical exception is in the way it manages heat. On Turbo you get 70 seconds of runtime before it drops to 1,200. On High you get 3 1/2 minutes of runtime with great throw and brilliant performance before it drops down to 1,200. It’s more hefty than the smaller LD35 and provides a larger information screen. The tail switch is perfect. I find it the best in the market. One click goes to your last setting. Two clicks gets you to Turbo. One and it’s off. When it’s off three simple clicks get you to lock and three click to unlock. One click of the top side switch get you to 5 lumens for easy reading. Two clicks gets you to UV. This is a snap to use. I think Imalent makes the absolute best lights on the market…hands down.

Small but very bright
It's very bright, or barely dim, if you want. Pros: small, charges fast, the display tells you the charge level remaining (in volts, not minutes). Cons: It's only bright for a minute or so before it gets hot and turns itself down. The button on the side that switches it to "moonlight" mode is too easy to push while you're holding it. (You can lock the buttons with a tripple-push if you're carrying it in your pocket.) The cover over the USB charge port probably isn't going to stay covering long, as it's just a flap you bend back.

I really wanted to love this flashlight
It's bright and it has Type-C charging! Oh and it's green! That's pretty much it. The UV light isn't as bright as my other UV lights so it's basically just good for checking IDs and Money. I was excited to get this flashlight since it had USB Type C unlike their other ones with the magnetic charger.... But the USB port cover/flap is so hard to open and when you put a cable in it the flap it puts so much pressure on the port. At least you're able to use any regular PD USB-C to USB-C cable, so that's nice. Mine also came with a crooked OLED display... At first it didn't bug me as much but after seeing my coworker's flashlight and how his is perfectly straight.... Yeah, it started to bug me then; but I still decided to keep it since I didn't want to go through the hassle or returning it and waiting for a replacement. Also, the turbo is almost unusable since the body gets so hot! Oh and last complaint.... It has no grip, so it's very easy for your to drop it, and it scratches way too easily!

Must have
So small, so bright. I find myself only really putting it on 600LM because it does tend to get hot but also the higher intensities just aren't necessary most of the time, it's pretty damn bright and on 600LM I charge it once every month, using it almost daily as a mechanic. The UV is bright as hell too but I didn't really buy it for that, it's not a cheap UV like those crappy LED arrays on Lowe's UV lights, it's actually bright lol. Love this light. Love the company honestly.

Very bright at the highest setting and the other feature of having UV with you when you go
The operating system is not intuitive but easily learned. Turn it on up down off and switch to UV several times and you'll get the hang of it. It does get a little bit hot on the highest setting. I probably wouldn't use it for very long.
