Great Player, Wrong case in bundle
The player is great and has fantastic audio. Install the Sony Media Player software on your compare, import music files from different sources, then transfer them by usb-c cable to your player. Higher quality music formats are supported than available on your phone. The video player is excellent. The case supplied is for an A55 Sony player (look at the case package in the photo) and not the A306!

Bad with cover.
MP3 is good but the protective cover doesn’t fit we finally got it on by putting it in the sun to heat up but then couldn’t use the buttons on the player.

Sony Screwed Up
I can't give a zero star. But I cry every time I start this miserable android POS. I wanted a Sony Walkman MP3 player like I've had for years before but unable to replace batteries when they run out. Now I'm stuck with this crappy android POS. Why did you do this, Sony? What you had was gold and now it's a POS. I can get android on everything else. The Sony Walkman was different. You screwed this up, Sony.

The bundled case is a problem
The Walkman itself is great. Android system is easy to use. File transfer is fairly slow to SD Card. Best to pull the card and transfer directly after formatting it in the Walkman. The bundled protective case is impossible to get on. It is ridged plastic. It is not flexible, AT All. 15 minutes of trying and I gave up. I put a lot of force on the unit trying to get it into the case. It should not be this difficult. It’s now in the garbage.

Rest in Peace
Mine died shortly after I got it, so I got a replacement under warranty. That died a week after the warranty expired. Nice while it's working, but I'll never buy a Sony again.
