This is a great little DMX controllable light that also works fine as a standalone unit. You can turn it on and just let it run with its own pattern, or have it react to music. With any DMX controller or computer software and interface, you can program it. It has X, Y, and Z movement, but the Z is the round ball which spins, and it can spin fast. You can manually select the colors and with a bit of programming, this is actually a very powerful little light if used with others. Instead of shining one beam of light, it shines in about 8 directions at once while it's spinning, although it can also remain still if you want. In addition to all the spot lights, it has outer rings of LEDs that add to the effect, but aren't as bright. It's a really cool light show in a small package that's great for mobile DJ's or someone wanting to get the maximum lighting effects without needing a lot of lights. Works great, easy to use, and it does come with simple instructions that aren't very thorough but are enough to set it up and know what the channels do, as well as how to use the menu system. It was a lot easier than I was expecting. Great little light, I've been having a lot of fun with it.

Love the LED strip around each beam, and the fact that it isn't one solid color like other lights I have. Extremely bright and very reactive to music. Best way to get the full experience is using DMX controller.
