This backseat extender is so sturdy, it's great! Very pleased with this car seat cover! The boards on the bottom of the cover are solid and supports our dog when he's in the back seat, no slipping or sliding. It also supports our 90lb boy too(we weren't sure how it would hold his weight). We got this for our puppy that destroyed our other car seat cover. Our puppy chewed the zippers off and the zipper tracks but that was the problem with our old one, the zippers weren't hidden. This seat cover zippers are hidden! They're placed on the outside so that's fantastic already. The material used for this seat cover is nice, thick and somewhat quilt like. It feels and looks like durable fabric and waterproof, not like the thin canvas our other cheap seat cover was made of. The straps that go around the head rests seem very sturdy, like they won't adjust themselves and get loose over time. The only real flaw is that this seat cover doesn't have seat belt holes. There's no hole for the seat belt holder/buckle to go through so if you ever needed that you'd be out of luck or youd have to cut the hole yourself. We don't need the seat belts so we don't mind but that might be something someone else takes into consideration. Other than that we really love this seat cover!

Love love love this! It makes my backseat bigger for my dog while protecting my seat. My dogs love this more than others and can comfortably lay down. Good quality and easy to put in. Folding it back up the way it came is a bit challenging for me but that’s probably user error.

The seat extender is designed for a vehicle that has two head rests on the front seats and two on the rear seats. My vehicle has three head rests on the rear seats. The installation was easy, but I had to work around the spacing of the attach points on the rear seat as there are only two attach points on the extender. Overall, I can recommend this product as it is sturdy and can be installed in a modified configuration.

This actually exceeded my expectations! The extender is a perfect size for my compact SUV. Wanted something that looked nice, so i didn’t always feel the need to disassemble it when she wasn’t using it. This is perfect! Has a material that feels like I can just wipe it down with a wet wipe when it gets muddy. Has velcro spaces for a doggy seatbelt! And includes the seatbelt! a very nice touch i wasn’t expecting! The mesh is nice, she likes to say hi while driving. Only thing I’m not a fan of, is the straps that go in front of the window. She likes to stick her head out, and i’m a little nervous she might put her head between the strap. Might try it without the straps and see if the sides still hold up good with just the zippers. Overall, a great purchase, and i didn’t have to spent $100+ like some other options!

I don't have pets. Pets aren't allowed in my vehicle either. However, I purchased this so I could have additional area for cargo in my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I camp frequently and a product like this will allow me to put firewood in my vehicle and still allow me some more room for other items. I definitely would place the heavier items on the area covered by the seat and lighter items toward the front. And there's still ample room underneath the platform for several items. It's almost like having a second cargo area! Actually, it is a second cargo area. I absolutely can see the value for pet owners. It came with two straps that will connect it so the door is protected. It also included a dog leash that will clip into the seatbelt. I've tucked those door protector flaps so it looks like a full seat cover, but in the pictures I've attached I wanted people to see just how much additional room this provides. When putting the boards in I highly suggest doing the end boards and then put the middle one in. I really struggled with it by trying to put the last piece in on one of the ends. Once I decided to try taking out the middle piece the end piece slid right in and the middle piece went in with no problem. That was the biggest difficulty I had with I would hardly call that anything substantial. I had initially purchased this company's cover that was just for the backseat and very pleased with it. I left a very good review for that. I still keep that in the vehicle in case I do end up having passengers in the backseat and this can come out quickly. Then I ended up purchasing the front seat covers, the cargo area cover, and now this cover. The prices are very fair, it's shown to be quite durable so far, blends nicely with the interior of my vehicle, and I have no doubt that this will save the Jeep's upholstery. I fully endorse any piece in this company's product line of interior vehicle covers. If you're considering purchasing WeatherTech take a look at these first. I had initially purchased WeatherTech covers for my vehicle found them to be frumpy and unattractive. There were other issues with their seat covers as well (blocked seat airbag, and yes - I double checked everything before ordering). I'm exceedingly pleased with this company's covers and not the easiest person to impress.

I have a 90 pound GSD and this is the best hammock I’ve ever had! It’s easy to install and very sturdy. My back seats are not one row, it’s individual seating and he’d fall through the small space separating the two seats until i found this! It’s strong enough to hold him and stay in place plus there’s a cushion as well! I’m so glad I found this.

I purchased this for our year old Lab retriever. It fits well, is real good quality and looks good in my 2022 Chey TrailBlazer. Easy to put in and take out. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased this seat extender to transport my hounds to the vet, around town and to the beach. It is well made. I found it assembles easily and is installed quickly. It supports big dogs and manages to prevent them from rolling around while keeping the seats clean. Flattens and folds into a flat carrying case when not in use. Checks all these boxes and is reasonably priced. I do recommend!

I got this for the back of my 2022 Ford Maverick to carry tools as well as our dogs and to just protect the seats and now that I have one, I couldnt imagine NOT having one. For starters, out of the box, the quality is impressive. Its nice and thick material, its waterproof and a hard, non-bendy under material that will even hold an 8 year old without an issue. It installs and loops around the headrests and I found the best way to do it was to lift the headrests up, install it, then push the headrests back down and that way you dont see or feel the clips when you lay your head back. Its seriously well made and strong, we have 2 80lb german shepherds and they both sit back there and they love it, much more room than before and we dont have to worry about them falling or slipping behind our seats. It protects the seat and helps keep all the dog hair on it. Its very simple to clean too, ive had it out and vacuumed it once and also sprayed it down at the carwash and just left it to hang dry in the garage for 24-48 hours. I like how it even protects the side of the door too from any scratches when the dogs stand on it to look or hang their head out the window. This is MUST HAVE for any animal lovers that like to travel with their dogs, or even those who carry tools and such in the back of their vehicles that want to protect the inside of their vehicle. Ive found so many uses for this that I would have never imagined and now I use it everyday. Its also quick to install and remove to take passengers.

This is a good quality seat cover and feels durable. Installation was straight forward and it fit perfectly in my suv with all of the headrest straps aligning with my headrests. I like that the bottom panels are padded and extend my back seats so it provides a comfortable spot for my dogs to lay without potentially falling on the floor. I also like that this has a rubber coating on the bottom and handles that pinch between the seat cushions so it doesn't move or slide around. The side panels work well for protecting my doors when zipped up and the zippers operate smoothly which is nice. The pocket is also a handy addition for storing leashes or water bottles as well. Overall I like the mesh window, solid bottom and the side panels which make this a comfortable enclosure for my dogs that keep them secure and keeps my seats clean. The materials are of good quality, feel robust, tear resistant and waterproof. A con for me is that one of my dogs used to jump on the floor before jumping on the seat so now I occasionally need to pick her up to place her on the seat. Also, this doesn't appear to be machine washable although wiping it with a wet cloth works fine and is easy to clean.

The instructions said to insert the 3 hard bottom bases into the dog seat cover first. It was a bit confusing where these panels went in. I finally found there is a zipper that runs the length of the cover, along the front side, under the mesh and pockets. This zipper is on the top side of the fabric. Then there was an issue because the first two panels fit in, but the zipper was in the way of the 3rd panel going in. I consulted with a friend who figured out the zipper needs to be opened all the way, which means it needs to tuck under the tab. Once it is out of the way, the 3rd panel will fit in. The hard panels are supposed to be able to support 350lbs but I'm not sure what they are made of or if they would break with the weight of a larger dog moving around. The panels would prevent a smaller dog from falling into the crevice between the front and back seats. The other instructions were fairly easy to follow. The headrest straps are adjustable so can fit a variety of vehicles. The side panels zip up and attach to the grip handles above the windows with the two straps included. There is a Velcro access for the seat belts and there are two pockets on the passenger side behind the seat. The material seems well-made, durable and waterproof, and is thick enough to protect the seats from claws. The mesh at the front between the seats is sturdier than others I've tried. This cover would protect your seats well. Update (Jan 14, 2024): I just saw the price has increased to almost $250! This is similar to other covers less than $150, so I wouldn't pay that much for it.

The installation process was straightforward, with adjustable straps and buckles that securely fit around the car seats. The size of this cover will fit most cars, trucks and SUV's. The seat cover feels very very durable and looks attractive. The material is also scratch-resistant, which is a relief considering my dog's love for digging into seats. The side flaps are great for protecting the car doors from drool and dirt. Cleanup is super easy, with just a quick wipe down or a run through the washing machine, and it’s as good as new. The non-slip surface is also, as it keeps my golden retriever in place. The mesh viewing window is also convenient. On the downside, the storage pockets could be a bit larger, but it's a minor issue. Overall, this is a sturdy dog cover, that keeps my car clean and my dog safe. Full marks from me!

It does a good job of protecting seats, for multiple reasons; first off, there are solid panels that go into the base of the seat covers, which means even if your dog is running around in the back and somehow punctures the cover, it'll just hit the solid board instead of your seat. The solid panels also have padding on top, to make it both comfortable and adequate protection for your seats. The straps are all nicely secured to the main seat cover, and there's plenty of reinforced stitching to make sure that even an overly active dog shouldn't cause the straps to tear quickly. Overall, an excellent seat cover with a good design.
