Face foam for Vive

Solid and well made, used this during a VR public event and it couldn't have been better suited to that scenario. The fabric/texture makes it very easy to clean and wipe with anti-bacterial tissues. This is important for public use obviously. However, even for casual use at home, the cushion doesn't suffocate your face and doesn't feel too puffy, a very good balance which can keep you playing for hours. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a Vive and uses it regularly. Especially to professional developers or public event hosts.

Cleaning Kit is very good, but the cushions are just ok. They fit nicely but the padding on the 6mm is just a little too thin and needs to be a little softer. It doesn't really increase the field of view over the 18mm one by much if anything.

These are wonderfully comfy, I seriously did not think they would make that much of a difference but they really do make me feel so much more comfy and immersed in my experience. There was nothing worse than having a dripping wet sponge on your face after a few hours on the vive prancing around and these pads are great because you can just pretty much wipe it clean and you are good to go! Cleaning kit that came with it is also very good, the little tools are perfect for getting into all the little nooks an crannies. For under 20 quid and the difference it made to me it is just a no brainer. 10/10

Best face cushion I've used so far. Price was reasonable and has a few useful extras for keeping my Vive clean. Happy with this.

Be aware i just recirved these. I bought the 2 pack for HTC Vive and was expecting a 6mm and a 18mm that i would ise yo give me more room for my spectacles. The last pocture in the advert clearly states this is what is in the package but when atrived it contained what i believed to be a 10mm and a 6mm. Not sure if they usefull to me yet.

Great set of replacement pads for the HTC VIVE. The major selling point of these pads is they are less likely to absorb the sweat that accumulates during gameplay. The thicker pad is comfortable, but slightly decreases the field of view while using the VR which was expected. The thinner pad is still comfortable enough and gets you closer to the lens for an increased field of view. Be aware that if you have a big nose, the thinner pad may cause yours to rub on the VIVE more frequently. Pros: Extremely easy to clean with a wipe or something of similar texture. More sanitary than other pads that just soak up sweat like a sponge. Comfortable and stays cooler than stock pads. Great when letting multiple people use the VIVE. Thicker face pad is better for young kids because it makes the VIVE stay in place better. The adjustment straps don't tighten down onto their faces as well as it does for adults. The cleaning utilities added in are very nice and help to ensure you are taking good care of the delicate parts of the VR. Cons: Nose may rub on the Headset more when using the thinner pad if your nose is longer than most. There is no center piece to lock into the VIVE like there is on the stock pads. Takes more precision to line up the pad evenly, but nothing too hard to do.

Jetzt im Rekordsommer 2018 habe ich gemerkt das VR spielen keinen Spass macht. Das ständige Schwitzen unter der Brille und immer ist die Abdichtung der Brille voller Schweiß! Daher habe ich nach einer Alternative zu den Standard Polsterungen der HTC Vive geschaut und dieses Produkt gefunden. Geliefert wurde wie immer sehr schnell. Dazu schonmal Top! Der Lieferumfang war wie in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben. Die Montage der neuen Polsterung war sehr sehr einfach. Es passt einfach genau! Einfach das alte Polster entfernen und das neue einsetzen. Nach kurzer Tragezeit habe ich schon gemerkt, das der Stoff viel angenehmer zu tragen ist als die der beigelegten Polsterung. Der Abstand zu den Linsen wird auch verbessert (Bessere Abdunkelung der Ränder) Auch ist die Luftdurchlässigkeit viel besser! Klar habe ich immer noch unter der Brille geschwitzt aber sehr viel weniger und auch erst nach etwas längerem spielen. Der Stoff saugt sich auch nicht mit dem Schweiß voll und ist daher viel einfacher zu reinigen. Einfach mit nem Lappen drüber und schon kann es für den nächsten Spieler weitergehen ohne in dem Schweiß des Anderen zu spielen. Fazit: Defenetiv ein Upgrade zur standard Polsterung! Luftdurchlässiger, bessere Abdunkelung. leichte Montage und einfaches reinigen. Klare Kaufempfehlung! Weiter so Kiwi!

The stock face pad on my HTC Vive is basically a sponge -- meaning when I sweat it retains a bunch of my sweat. Makes sharing or taking turns either gross or impossible. These face pads allow you to just wipe off and continue -- they're also more comfortable (IMO) than the stock ones. It should be noted that I do not wear glasses. The "extras" in this kit (the pump and brush) are basically useless.
