I bought this Portronics Adapto Volt 65 mainly to charge my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop and my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra together. It works well overall and the build quality feels solid. My laptop charges perfectly when it’s the only device connected — I can see it drawing full power and charging fast. However, when I plug in my phone at the same time, the laptop immediately shows a “slow charger” warning. After testing, I realized that only one Type-C port is the primary high-power port (up to 65 W), while the other one shares or reduces power when both are in use. The phone still charges decently, but the laptop slows down a lot. So, if you plan to charge only one high-power device at a time, this adapter is great — compact, neat design, and reliable charging. But if you expect both USB-C ports to deliver full speed simultaneously, it’s a bit of a let-down. Pros: Good build quality and compact design Delivers full 65 W when one port is used Works perfectly with laptops and phones individually Cons: Power drops when both Type-C ports are used Only one port gives true 65 W output Overall, a good product for single-device charging, but not ideal for powering two demanding devices together.

Its a wonderful device worth the money. Its compact and obviates the need to carry multiple chargers. Ports are sturdy but the charging speeds depend on the cables used. The right cables give superfast charging from the PD USB C ports. Cables that do not support fast charging reduce the charging speed so it is wise to check all cables you have to select the right one which gives the fastest charging speed. Powering in an AC device does not alter the speed of charging. It is compatible with a wide range of devices. A good buy or geeks and the non geeks as well.

I am writing this review after almost one and a half months since purchase. (Used only for 2-3 days) Product Quality & Performance: The item delivered did not work as expected. It only functioned when I plugged in a single device. The moment I connected another device, the power output dropped drastically. For example, my laptop (which requires 65W) and my mobile (also 65W) could not be charged simultaneously—only one device would get power, and even then at a much lower capacity. Product Listing vs Actual Product: The device I received did not match the product image shown on Amazon. The listing clearly displayed 65W + 65W (Type-C) and 60W + 60W (USB-A) printed on the charger for each port, but that was not the case with the delivered unit. Customer Support Experience: I raised a complaint with Portronics on 27th July 2025 giving all details. Pickup was finally arranged on 8th August. The delay happened because, as their call center agent explained, my email reply with pickup details had landed in their spam folder (!). After 2–3 follow-ups, on 20th August I was informed that the issue was confirmed and that I would receive a replacement within 5–7 working days. However, when I followed up again on 2nd September, I was told that the replacement had already been dispatched. On checking the DTDC tracking with the given consignment number, I discovered that the parcel (with my name) was delivered to someone else in Delhi While I am in Pune! Current Status: Today is 10th September 2025, and I am still waiting for my replacement product. :( Note: I am using the Portronics Konnect View 100W Type-C to Type-C Cable with LED Display to charge my laptop, and that works perfectly fine.

Although it does work and is really sleek it doesn’t charge my 65w laptop at the speed of 65 watts. Its size is small it’s is good. Only issue is about the charging. If it did I’d give it a 5 on 5 really good for the price tho.
