Very Cute for a Cake Topper
I used this as a cake topper. It was a total hit with the Golden owners! And really everyone. They are a little pricey for what they are, but in this economy, I get it. I will say for a little toy figurine, it was very well detailed. I got excited when I saw that the paws on the bottom were realistically colored in, and everything! I can appreciate those little touches.

Quality figurine
My kids collected Schleich animals years (and years) ago, and now I give them as prizes in my classes. This Golden isn't my favorite figurine, I cannot ignore the fact that it's impeccably marked... even down to the little footprints on the pads of the feet. It stands well, although it's just a tad "spindly" (or less sturdy) than many of the Schleich choices. Still, the quality and detail are impeccable, and worthy of the brand.

Fun as a cake topper
I bought this as a cake topper for my wedding. It’s so cute and was small enough to not take the attention away from the cake.

A quality toy
Adorable, realistic, carefully painted, durable, and stands well on flat surfaces. I measure every toy figurine against Schleich. I've loved them since I was a kid, and I am thrilled to find that they are still a quality brand to buy for my children. This is a bit small, I wouldn't give it to a child younger than three (maybe four), but it was perfect for my six year old.
