I still have the Pioneer CLD-V720 Karaoke machine I bought for about $1K setup in my home and will likely keep it. With that said, I have been waiting to buy a Karaoke machine in this century! :) If you been into Karaoke, Pioneer is the best when it all started, mics, sound and a huge library of music video to choose from. Without a doubt, the Ikarao Beat X1 is the best in the market IMHO currently! It doesn’t have the nice videos like Pioneer Karaoke, but everything is better ie. mics, easy setup, custom sound setup for the mics, portable, inputs for wired mics or plug in your guitar, sound quality, Bluetooth, battery operated and ability to Karaoke offline. Two of my adult kids play the electric guitar, I can't wait for them to plug in and play while karaoking. The price point currently at $550 from $700 retail, it is the best value model for your money! I'm really impressed with this machine, I am not easily impressed by other Karaoke machines since I have the best Pioneer Karaoke machine that my family still use. This one is a solid, well engineered machine. I even bought the travel case, mic and Karaoke stand at Ikarao.com because I expect to use at family events outside wherever we party! Is it prefect, obviously not but for the $550.00 not a bad machine for money!

Perfect size and weight! Ease of use and to carry. The best part is the quality of sound! And I love how the microphones are stored.

I actually did a lot of research for choosing this one. I really think this machine offers the best quality that you can get for the money. It is right on the edge of a really good Home machine and a professional one. I actually considered starting a Karaoke small business using this machine! I had a really cheap one before and I decided to treat myself and upgrade when I was asked by a friend to host a fun karaoke party at her house for our mutual friends. The party was a big success, the machine was easy to use and had great sound. I highly recommend it!.

We love it. I bought this for Christmas as a family gift we could all share and spend more time together using. What a hit! It feels solid and the sound quality is really good for the size. The mic storage and charging is very convenient. The unit is great for portability and the battery life is really decent. We have had non-stop karaoke for several hours without interruption. There are plenty of IO ports to connect another mic, or connect to a TV and external sound system. If you are looking for a portable, high quality system with great sound, this one is the one for you.

Packaging was nice, it was packaged in a box with soft foam silhouettes that surround all of the parts. The quality of the screen, mics and box were nice and clean. Setup was very easy, with a wizard to set things up. Connecting to YouTube was easy. The sound was pretty impressive for such a small box. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the HDMI interface was video-only. One of the reasons that I bought this particular model was so that I could hook it up to my theater system. The video worked fine, but there was no audio out of the HDMI interface. Very odd, because an HDMI interface as defined as: "An HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a digital interface standard for transmitting high-quality, uncompressed video and compressed or uncompressed audio over a single cable". Anyway, I returned it and am going to look for one with video and audio out of the HDMI. It was pretty disappointing as I really wanted to keep the unit. It was pretty well done for a good price. I only knocked off a star because if it had audio out of the HDMI I would have gave it 5 stars.

Great sound for its size. The full 360 spin on the tablet is so nice to have. No complaints. Works and sounds great for the price.

This portable karaoke system is wonderful. The build feels extremely high quality, the microphones store into the unit conveniently and we've used it several times at various family parties. Note that the unit is a little heavy, but that's what you get with good quality and good battery power. The user interface is a little basic, but once you get accustomed to it, it's very easy to use.
