The Sky-Watcher Heritage 150 Tabletop Dobsonian is an outstanding telescope for beginners and casual stargazers. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it delivers impressive performance in a compact and portable design. What I Love: ✔️ Excellent Optics – The 150mm parabolic primary mirror provides sharp, bright, and contrast-rich views of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects. Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s moons, and even the Orion Nebula look stunning! ✔️ Portable & Collapsible Design – The collapsible tube is a game-changer for easy storage and transport. It holds collimation well, so setup is quick every time. ✔️ Simple, Stable Mount – The tabletop Dobsonian mount is intuitive to use, even for complete beginners. It moves smoothly and stays stable thanks to its rubber feet that minimize vibrations. ✔️ Quick Setup – No complicated assembly! It’s basically ready to go right out of the box. Just attach an eyepiece, and you’re set. ✔️ Great Value for the Price – You get high-quality optics in a budget-friendly package, making it one of the best beginner telescopes in its class. Minor Considerations (Not Dealbreakers): Needs a Sturdy Surface – Since it’s a tabletop design, you’ll need a steady table or flat surface to place it on, or consider a tripod/stand. Manual Tracking – Like most Dobsonians, it’s manual, so you’ll need to move it by hand to track objects across the sky. But honestly, it’s part of the fun! Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a beginner-friendly, high-quality, and portable telescope, the Sky-Watcher Heritage 150 is an amazing choice. Easy to use, powerful optics, and great build quality—this is a telescope that makes stargazing fun and accessible! Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought this for my son and we have both used this on most clear nights. Can see all the craters of the moon close up. Pretty cool. We have also looked at Saturn. Very solid telescope. Would highly recommend

So I am new at astronomy and owned a Astromaster 130. But I did a lot of research watched a lot of videos and Dobs are the way to go for beginners for sure. And it seems the mirror as are really high quality for the price. I love this thing and will be my go to for many years. There is a video on YouTube to make a light shroud and to stable up the eyepiece and both are easy as pie and necessary. Another $20 to do it. But if you are in question just get it you won’t regret. Also on Amazon you can get a decent zoom eyepiece from svbony that is great for the price I think like 30-40 bucks. I bought a $120 10mm eyepiece that’s Astromania and it’s great but very little difference in the view from the SVbony they make good stuff at a beginner price point that won’t let you down and turn you away from looking up in our sky’s. Another thing a 2X Barlow for me at least not yet has been needed it actually distorts the view more than anything. You’re better off using a 7mm eyepiece to get up close or gain distance anyhow I’m still new less than 6 months into astronomy but this is my real life review. This is a great Dob and a great price.
