I was surprised by the convenient sizing of this product. They work well and I will purchase more.

They produce a very black line. When one draws with light lines it’s easy to erase but impossible to erase once pressure is applied to get a strong line. I will use them because it’s too many of them but I think I will go back to a vine charcoal afterwards. I used it with cannon drawing and Ingres paper. Seems good, but be careful which bulk pack you order. Because of the listing images, I thought I was ordering the variety pack, but instead I got 4 packs of 5-7mm. Not sending it back because that's a useful size, but just be careful.

Pros: Work. Works very well for grime and soot. Cons: Makes a mess but worth it.

Superb for those smoky soft lines. They might break easily so a softer touch is recommended. They come in various thickness and size and are perfect for my art projects.
