Just received my WELLSTAR Knife Edge Guards Set, 8 Piece Universal Blade Covers and love them! Very good quality and work perfectly! I always had my knives in a block on the counter and now I have a knife drawer which the knives, with the edge guards, fit wonderfully. There are enough large and small sizes to accommodate all my knives and at a great price, couldn’t be happier!

Having good knives is an investment and these covers are critical to protecting that investment. Highly recommended for good "loose" knives. My only complaint is I wish they had more large-to-medium covers for some of the intermediate size knives. Also, the top of the cover is unattached so you need to be careful handling them. But they do stay put quite well.

They are soft on the inside so your knives won't get scratched and hold the knives tight.

Had two expensive knives that were always tucked away in a drawer because I saw them as dangerous. Now with the covers I got I put them up front. so I would use them. The ones I chose fit the knives perfectly and function as intended. I like the easy to use design and they protect the investment.

I purchased these sheaths for the six steak knives with my early 2000s Cutco set. Having tossed the wood stand that came with our set over a decade ago, I was looking for something to store the matching steak knives on our new magnetic knife block. The color of the sheaths was fairly bland (just plain black), which was fine with us, since we wanted them to just blend in the kitchen. They are fairly durable plastic, and most importantly, they have the function we wanted most with them - to protect the sharpness of our blades and keep dirt/dog hair off the knives themselves. The sheaths were also fairly lightweight and fit snug against the blade, making them very easy to install, so it worked great for us!

I can't imagine how I have been cooking for so long without using knife edge guards. Invested in good knives and bought these to protect them. Yes, it's an extra few seconds to put them away now. Totally worth it.
