MOES Zigbee Smart Switches, No Neutral Wire, Require MOES Zigbee Hub Inteligente Single Pole Light Switch, Compatible with Alexa Google Assistant, Support Tuya Smart Life

I purchased the MOES Zigbee 2 Gang smart switches without a neutral wire for my home, and I am quite satisfied with their performance and ease of use. These smart switches provide a simple and efficient way to control lighting without the need for a neutral wire. Their compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant platforms makes lighting control even more convenient, allowing voice control or mobile app operation. I also appreciated the support for Tuya Smart Life, which adds extra flexibility in choosing smart home devices. However, it’s worth noting that I had to return the switches because I couldn’t install them in all sockets. Partial smart home setup wasn’t acceptable for me, so it was a deal-breaker. Nevertheless, the MOES Zigbee smart switches proved to be reliable and effective devices that significantly improved lighting control in my home.

This was the coolest looking dimmer switch other than the Wemo one, but this one was $10 less and I didn't love the huge light bar at the bottom of the Wemo dimmer switch. This was super easy to install and fit in my box perfectly. The pliable wires made it even easier to stuff the dimmer switch box in the light box. I had to use a larger cap that I luckily had on hand for the 2 neutral wires since they wouldn't fit in the small cap provided. I had some initial trouble getting this to link to the Smart Life app, it would discover the device, start the countdown, then once it got to 100% it would say it timed out. I emailed them, they got back to me within 24 hrs, and they told me to check my internet speed which was fine, and to turn the power off to the switch which I already did, but for some reason I tried again and it actually connected this time. Alexa discovered the switch immediately because I had already enabled the Smart Life skill on Alexas app. So far I'm impressed. There is a small light at the bottom that slowly comes on and off and one dot at the very top that is constantly on even when the light is off, but it isn't obtrusive or too bright. I wanted one with a night light anyways to make it easier to find in the dark. My one gripe is that the wall plate doesn't sit flush with the wall which bugs me but I've tried adjusting the wall plate And flipping the light upside down and it doesn't change it. Oh well

Terrible quality. I’ve been building my smart home suite for years now, and have used many brands and types of devices for automation around my Wink/Alexa based smart house. This is the first Garbage/rate product I’ve had the displeasure of coming across. First, the config instructions that come with it complete contradict and are different than the actual setup interface you have available to use in the app. As if they came from some other product line and got Copy-Pasted onto this devices instructions insert. Second it varies the “dimmed stages” of power and flickers in anything but Full On or Full Off. And finally, after two weeks it completely stopped working altogether. The pretty lights on the switch itself glow to show power level, but nothing comes on. I am not a novice, and run the troubleshooting list before making this assessment. It’s properly wired as was the other non-dimmer smart switch before it (which still works flawlessly), and only dimmable led recessed lights below the total Amp limit on this circuit are in use. Just a crappy switch.

I have a total of 3 of these switches installed, 1-single and 2-dual gang. All of them are wired "non-neutral". Installation of the switches is as easy as it can be although the screw terminals feel a bit flimsy. Regarding functionality, the single gang and 1 dual gang work flawlessly. Unfortunately the second dual gang switch keeps dropping out of the zigbee network, comes on shortly after a hard power cycle via the breaker. The 2 manual switch buttons keep working fine so it is a connectivity issue. After a couple of emails back and forth, I got a replacement from Moes which worked well for a week and then failed the same way. Moving them to a location close to the coordinator showed the same behavior. After getting power the switch connected to the network and then lost connection again after a few minutes. Will have to look for another brand that is more reliable and consistent.

I loved this smart switch. It came with extremely easy-to-read instructions, and I could set up my lights quickly. I like that this has a ground wire holding as well. I enjoyed the app functionality that it comes with, and how you can set different schedules. Overall, I would recommend this product to everyone. It was incredible!

I had the light switch professionally installed by a licensed electrician so I know that’s not the issue, and it worked well for about three months. As other reviews have stated, it started to flicker the lights, and eventually became unresponsive with voice control as well as manually pushing the button. Now it gives me a red light at the bottom, which I’m sure in not a good thing. Such a shame as I really liked this light in the beginning. What a waste of $30.00. Buyers beware. I will update if Moes customer service is willing to replace. UPDATE.... after Contacting Moes via email, through Amazon, they actually sent a free replacement. Hopefully this one will work properly and I will change my star rating from 1 to 4 for customer service. Still out of the money from having an electrician install the first faulty one, but happy they replaced it.

Tight fit in my 70s era switch box, but I haven't seen any flickering and it paired right up with my ConBee zigbee controller.

The smart switch arrived quickly (as is usual with Amazon fulfillment). I installed it a few days ago, and was impressed with the switch and the complete instructions. The only downside is that it came with a switch cover designed for a single electrical box and I was installing it in a box with another switch in it as well. The upside is that it fit the two switch box cover just fine. It works well with Google Nest Mini.

I only rated it 1 star because zero was not an option. . . . I purchased a number of these units for my new home - they installed fine and integrated into Alexa easy - The issue is i now have had 2 units fail - one stopped dimming low and the other has stopped dimming all together - Customer support is painful - before they will even respond to an email they want your order number and who you purchased from - what does that have to do with the product failing? after 3-4 emails they will concede it is a product issue - then say they are out of stock so they can't replace the unit - - DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

This smart switch worked fine at first, but after a couple of years it would randomly disconnect from my smart home system. At first I could reconnect, with some difficulty, but now I can't even get it into the pairing state. Still works as a manual switch, but no longer functions as a smart switch.
