The first one was for 2 of my great grandchildren. We all loved it. It’s adorable, so cute that I bought another one to keep around the house. Unfortunately I’ve had the second one for a couple months and just opened the box today. Well it was used. The screw does not hold, the hamster is also a little soiled, perhaps well loved. The packaging was very good, very little use. I am disappointed, however it works, so will keep. But thought you should know this.

My 10 month old daughter, as well as her 3 and 7 year old friends really loved this toy. Unfortunately, it has not held up well and malfunctions now. It only repeats back part of the time and sometimes gets in a loop where it doesn't stop bouncing up and down. That being said, the kids (especially the baby) were quite rough with it so I am not deducting a star for that. Ideal wise, it's great, but my real problem is that it feels sort of flimsy and doesn't have much if any padding between the motor/metal parts. Something for kids needs to be more durable, in my opinion. Also, keep in mind that this thing is high pitched and kids may drive you crazy with it. Still, quite an amusing little invention.

I got this for my grandsons. They adore it! It's so cute. We really have a blast with it. They especially like the talk back feature, copying whatever they say in a funny voice. The volume control works perfectly well. There are so many songs to play. The kids love dancing along with the cactus.

the kids had fun with it for a short time. It worked but It didn't hold up to well to ruff play - but I didn't expect it to. It was just a fun gift that made the kids laugh. They enjoyed it but for me, it was hard to listen to the high pitch of the hamster voice

I watched a video online about children playing with this talking hamster, and I thought it might be fun to get one for my baby. I was happy to find it has this Christmas version, which makes it perfect as a gift in this holiday season. My husband and I could not stop playing with it when it arrived. It repeats what you said in a helarious tone with crazily shaking its head. And it has different repeat tones for men, women, and babies! It was super cute when my baby’s crying has been repeated from this hamster. My baby is a little too young for this hamster, since he is not able to talk much right now. But my husband loves it, and it could be a great pressure reduction toy in work!
