Appear to be good quality and material, nice size / good design packing could be thicker but good value for the money

I was pleasantly surprised to find these padded envelopes at such a great price without sacrificing quality. The padding is thick and secure, perfect for protecting items during shipping. They’re sturdy, well-made, and exactly the size I needed. Super stronh adhesive strip. white colour which I wanted. On top of that, delivery was impressively fast. I’ll definitely be ordering again—fantastic value for money!

I bought these to post 100 hardback A5 books, which, due to the cover, are slightly larger than A5. There is another product for envelopes measuring 180x260mm. I decided to spend an extra pound on these ones measuring 220x260, just in case the others are too narrow. I have a hardback A5 notebook, 20mm thick, which fits inside these envelopes comfortably, width-wise. The narrower envelopes would be very close to the limit. Length-wise, these envelopes are okay, just. 20mm shorter and they would be no good. 10mm shorter and I'd have some trouble closing the envelope, making the parcel look good/professional. 10mm longer would be best, I think. As for the cushioning, it's okay. Don't be expecting too much when paying 10p per envelope with first class recorded post. For a 2kg product such as this, Royal Mail charge £8.30, plus 95p for Recorded Signed For delivery. I paid £10.45. That leaves £1.20 for Amazon, the seller and the manufacturer to share among themselves. If my books get damaged in transit, it won't be because the padding is too thin, but because of bad handling and wrong choice of packing material (something stiffer might be better - these envelopes could be reinforced if you are paranoid like me). For DVDs you will be better off with the 180x260 envelopes. I have rated 4 stars because I have unreasonable expectations. When I hover over the stars, 5 = I love it. I don't wish to marry this product or attempt to make babies with it. I would prefer to just stay friends, for now. Two other things. The self-adhesive glue is brilliant. With some envelopes I get paranoid that they won't even remain closed by the time I get them to the Post Office, so I have to tape or glue them too. Not these ones. Peel the removable strip away and close. Also, for some reason the manufacturer has put a slit at the beginning of both ends of the crease. Maybe it is to make the envelope easier to open, but I'm not a fan. As I said, I'm a paranoid one and I wonder if the slits might grow. Should I tape them? Probably not. They're fine, just a little insignificant unnecessary worry.
