Not worth money, hinges are rusted and i had to change them for new ones, the turning plate kept catching on the switch underneath and kept making loud clunking sound every time the plate turned, inside all the screws are rusted, and missing bolts in places. Very poorly made and put together, worth a fraction of the price advertised.

Looks beautiful, works amazingly on gramophone records. A fantastic vintage product at a wonderful price. I am really pleased with this purchase.

The gramaphone is beautiful. Though different to the picture the wooden box doesn’t have a hmv sticker on it as the picture showed. It came with a record that plays ok I also got other records to play in it and they don’t work so I wouldn’t suggest buying this for playing records on more as a display piece.

It looks just right but it needs skill to assemble the needle head - it is difficult to mount because it is tight and fragile

An utter and complete let-down. Pile of rubbish. Waste of money and expectation.

Very poor quality. The turntable rotated unevenly and it's speed was uncontrollable. The sound was very poor. The wood was cheap. It was so disappointing that we bought another in Belgium for our granddaughter. It was a Christmas present and we were embarrassed by its quality.

Looks great. Was just what I wanted to enhance the decor of my room. Oh and did I say, it works? Gramo-fantastic-phone. Great prompt, delivery. Delighted with this supplier. Highly recommended if you are looking for this sort of thing.

It plays yes, but have to turn the handle to And the speed control does not work. Am a ww2 re-enactor and make a good display. But something is missing on the speed controller. The record is in a different language. And is hard to understand. No music witch is a shame. It plays other 78 RPMs I bort "nees up mother Brown" and works OK but no instructions on how to operate or play it, Believe it or not the other record played better then the one they supplied. And you put the needle on the right hand side at a site angle. When I received it I played the recorder on the left. And it grinded to a halt. It quite easy to build if your mechanicly minded. If your not your gone have problems.
