Excellent coffee but expensive

I bought the coffee as a treat as it's a bit more costly than a standard bag of filter coffee and I wasn't sure how much I would like it. The chocolate scent from the coffee is lovely, I would say it's not the strongest coffee. I usually make in an aeropress I would recommend whatever the measure you use if you like your coffee reasonably strong use a heaped scoop or measure for a satisfying cup of coffee. I now have it on subscribe and save and often buy in between deliveries (the price does seem to vary quite a bit) as I enjoy after dinner or lovely with a little dark chocolate on the side for an indulgence.

Love love love this coffee taste, the smell, the Godiva packaging, the way it closes everything. I have used it in a mocha pot and a pour over. The mocha pot is great but the pour over not so much. The coffee is too fine for the pour over and definitely will not suffice in a cafetiere. The taste is amazing, but I do wish it was not so expensive. Due to the cost, I only have this coffee on the weekends as a treat as it is far too expensive to have everyday.

Quality of the coffee is my favorite

Was eager to try this but when first opening the bag & smelling the contents, I was shocked. For a product which only contains two ingredients (coffee & Hazelnuts) it smelled of neither. It had a very strong aroma of chemicals/ alcohol. I proceeded to make a cup just incase, & it tasted as it smelled. Safe to say I didn't take another sip. Its gone straight into the bin. Disgusting. Waste of £15.

The packaging is stunning, the caramel aroma is beautiful, however it tastes pleasant enough but the caramel flavour is too mild. You can buy much better for less money or even buy a bottle of flavouring such as Monnin to add to your preferred strength. Mildly disappointed with this so-so product.

I have had coffees from different part of the world including Illy Guatemala Coffee. But this is way better than any other coffee. After 2 things that make great coffee are - 1. The origin of the coffee beans or grounds. 2. Roasting profile. Godiva knows which batch of coffee to pick and how to roast it. Godiva Guatemala has replaced my erstwhile favorite Starbucks Colombia Coffee. I have been buying since Feb 2021 and will continue to buy it future. This coffee is worth the price tag.

Lange habe ich einen guten Kaffee mit einem Hauch von Haselnussgeschmack gesucht und den hier gefunden. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Ich freue mich jeden Tag auf meine Tasse Haselnusskaffee!
