The New Mythic Tarot

Ideal deck for beginners as well as experienced readers. The artwork is gentle and appealing. The cards may not be as strong as others but they are still manageable and shuffle nicely. The book that accompanies these cards is bigger than I was expecting and the beauty of it is you get the stories of the Greek Gods as well as the meanings of the cards, there is a few spreads to get you started, some practice reads and a small section for your notes. I am very happy with this purchase.

If you like mythology this is the right deck for you. I like the quality of the cards an knowing the stories linked to the tarot helps to understand the card meanings better.

Can't fault this product. Everything came intact. The book is very helpful, and the cards are very well drawn and printed. I would suggest getting something to store your tarot cards in, as if you keep them in the large box, a few can slip underneath the packaging.

Bought the book to go with the cards I purchased separately and ended up with 2 packs of cards. Went back to see this was mentioned in the description, but the image looks like a book only. However, my daughter loves these and will use one set of cards for an art project/scrap booking.

This is a superb resource to add to the other decks you may already have (R/W of course). Have tried quite a few but this one is brilliantly illustrated complete with a paperback book for reference. Lots of mythological characters. Lovely energy to work with.

As a tarot card reader and collector of tarot cards, this is one of the best Tarot cards I've ever purchased, it is very well written, and superbly put together, This is a must to get for any tarot card reader or beginner.

Beautiful illustrations and in-depth book

Good cards to learn with but the original workbook/ instruction guide was a colouring book, given the popularity of adult colouring in I'm surprised they haven't reinstated it as it is a good way to learn about each card

Estoy aprendiendo astrología y es el tarot que encontré donde la autora es tarotista y astróloga. Habían otros mazos u oráculos que muestran personajes de la mitología griega pero no son astrólogos. Y ponían unos personajes con otras cartas. Con este mazo conecté inmediatamente con el. Además porque soy aries y el carnero sale en varias cartas. También tiene muchos detalles griegos como los monstruos y columnas griegas. Me hubiera gustado que las cartas tuvieran su propia cajita y así podría desechar la caja enorme donde viene el libro y ahí mismo se guardan las cartas. El material de las cartas no es lo mejor pero realmente yo lo compré por el contenido del libro. Esperemos que aún así me dure.

This is definitely my favorite tarot deck! I’ve always loved Greek Mythology and this deck (and the accompanying book) is an excellent way to learn tarot and Greek Mythology at the same time, while gaining a deeper understanding of the symbolism behind both of them. I almost didn’t get this deck because of all the negative reviews which were mostly centered around the art, which I find absolutely beautiful! Ultimately, this deck uses the same symbolism and stories of the classic mythic tarot. I think a lot of the negativity around the art is rooted in nostalgia. I didn’t grow up with the art of the classic mythic tarot so I want attached to it. The book is very detailed and well written. It includes everything a beginner would need to get started reading tarot, including methodology and basic spreads. The card stock is very high quality and feels built to last. The cards are the same size as the Raider-Waite cards, but honestly are better quality. I also greatly prefer the back design! If you are looking for a high quality tarot deck using symbolism and stories from Greek Mythology, this is a great deck!

The book and the cards come inside a box. The color are very bright. Very good quality, the book is well written and the cards are big and beautifully illustrated.

O produto chegou antes do prazo, muito bom!O produto original é muito melhor do que a versão nacional, pelo menos, em relação ao livro. Já as cartas são bem parecidas quanto à qualidade delas. As imagens são mais bonitas do que a versão nacional, parece até que outra pessoa adaptou-as, porque não são idênticas. Talvez você se sinta enganado ao comprar a versão nacional. :-(O preço é meio salgado, mas a qualidade é tão superior à versão nacional que vale muito a pena, no entanto, só serve para quem sabe ler em inglês. ;-)
