This is a well made set at a good price. The magnets make this set perfect for our family. The pieces are easy to move but stay in place well. I find the size more than enough, with room to move. It’s great for travel too because it folds up and becomes even more compact. Our family gives this set all 5 stars!!

I love the magnetic feature!!!

I am a teacher and a coach who somehow have formed this club with my kids at lunch. I noticed they were always on their cellphones and I wanted them to engage more with one another. I purchased this board for its storage capabilities and the fact that it was both checkers and chess. The magnetic functions are wonderful as the pieces stay firm in their locations. The kids have all tried and learned how to play chess and have remained engaged and now competitive. It has been a great addition to the office. The storage behind the board makes it easy to recognize if a piece is missing. With High School kids, this is very important as they tend to lose things very easily.

The magnet bottom of each piece seems so thin, I’m only nervous about that but other than that, it’s so smooth, light to store and carry & easy for kids to use and open. The quality finish is great, I got this piece for my family after I noticed kids really like to play with it at school. It lasted two school years with ~100 kids messing with it, so hopefully it’ll last us even more

My six year old grandson is learning to play chess so I wanted to get him a set to have at my house for when he visits. We found this one together and we both loved that it was magnetic. I was somewhat disappointed that the checkers aren't also magnetic, but it's not that big of a deal for me. The pieces are well made and so is the board. Overall, I am very happy with this set and my grandson really enjoys it.

Great product, fits description

Arrived great shape. I didn't know that it included checkers when I ordered it for myself and sent one to my brother. I used to play years ago when in high school and college and decided to return to that game in the cold, dark winter nights.
