Super Comfortable Foam — Great for Pain Relief and Reducing Swelling
This foam pad really impressed me with how comfortable it is. From the very first night, I noticed a big difference: my body feels more supported, it doesn’t sink too much, and it provides a firm yet soft surface to rest on. It’s perfect for elevating your legs, relaxing your back, or simply resting comfortably. The material feels cool, high-quality, and very pleasant to the touch. What truly surprised me is how much it has helped with the swelling in my ankles. Elevating my legs on this foam has improved my venous return and significantly reduced pain. My legs feel lighter, and I sleep so much better now. Absolutely worth every penny — highly recommended!

Exactly what I needed.
I was suprised when it showed up. Shrink wrapped in a roll about the size of a yoga mat. There was no smell for me like other people have stated. Also, got it's shape pretty quickly. I was able to use it with a couple hours. I was worried it wouldn't be high enough to elevate feet but its perfect. Angle supports back of legs/knees. Firm but comfortable. I've even been able to maneuver to my side and still be able to elevate feet comfortably. My only concern will be washing it. Having a difficult time trying to find a cover that is the same size shape and not silky. Until then I'll probably just wrap it in a old bedsheet to protect it

Self care at its finest simplest form
My daughter is 22 , has fibromyalgia but otherwise healthy. Her friend/roommate at college was teasing her how she is so extra that I sent her this to use (I have one i got when I got lymes disease). She had her friend use it after work one day. She doesn't think she's extra anymore. If ya know, ya know! Not the same as pillows! This helps so much with circulation and just helps the blood flow and makes my pain so much less and same with my daughter. It takes pain off pressure points and just eases that pain with the firmness in the elevation that elevated pillows can NOT. It helps so much. We both think of this as a necessity and not an EXTRA. Do yourself a favor, don't consider this an EXTRA, your wellbeing and overall general feeling of not being in pain and anything you can do to ease your pain is a necessity,NOT an extra, it is totally justifiable and you shouldn't need to explain to any friend or family member. . Don't hymn and haw about it. Be gentle with yourself and treat yourself with love and care. You DESERVE to ease your pain!!! You deserve to be more comfortable!!! That's not extra, that is necessary!

Excellent except it hurts my knee after about 10 minutes of use
As other reviewers have said, this product is well made, arrives appropriately packaged, expands to full size quickly, does not have a bad smell, is wide enough for both legs without fear of falling off, and is initially quite comfortable. (I’m 5 ft 5 inches, have severe bilateral knee problems, and purchased the 8 inch pillow for under $30). I find that my most damaged knee begins to hurt significantly after a few minutes of use and I am not able to sleep using this pillow. That said, it is initially very comfortable, so I plan to work on finding some accommodation that will make it work with my specific knee issues (add an extra pillow, half moon support under the knee, etc). The criticism regarding sliding is accurate, IME, and the lack of straps or handles indeed makes it difficult to adjust placement while you are using it. I believe Velcro and the rubber backing you buy to keep rugs from slipping will fix both problems very easily, but it is annoying to have to retrofit a brand new product. Still, this seems to be an excellent value if it works for your specific leg problems. I recommend this with the caveat that it doesn’t work well for some leg problems and you may want to add nonslip backing and “handles”.

If I could give this more stars, I would!
I've been meaning to get one of these, and I finally did. Absolutely thrilled with the quality and comfort of this bed wedge! Took a nap on it as soon as it arrived and it's SO comfortable! Feels nice and soft, but doesn't get pressed down when I put my legs on it. I was apprehensive about the quality of the cover, as the pictures don't tell me anything, so I wasn't expecting much. I didn't want the velvety version, as that can be hot and I want to put my legs up in the summer, too. The "black" cover is NOT black, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It's a very attractive grey, not even a charcoal, but not too light, either. A good stretchy material, to fit the pillow exactly, and made very well. It looks like it will hold up well, even with my cats walking across it. And it's big enough so my feet don't dangle over the edge as the model's do in the photos, which is good. The cushion expanded to full size the moment I opened the wrapper, and there was no objectionable odor at all. Do not hesitate, buy it and you'll be happy!

Comfortable, large and better than expected
This leg pillow is pretty inexpensive compared to other models, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot from it. It's packed very compactly and expands when you open the packaging but without any smell. The pillow doesn't sink down to nothing when I put my legs up on it and it's a good height to raise my legs above my heart while laying down. This was definitely worth the price and doesn't seem like it's something that's going to be a throwaway.

Good, BUT... has too many design flaws for my specific needs
If you can lay down with your legs elevated at an angle with zero support under your knees, then this wedge will probably be a perfect 5-star fit for you and you don't need to read any further. If you think having no support under your knees might be an issue, then please read my review below. MY REVIEW: Leg elevation pillows/wedges are GREAT for people with lower back problems. I have both upper & lower back problems which unfortunately limit me to only being able to sleep on my back because of the pain. It's the least painful position for me to sleep in, however, having my legs elevated is KEY as it takes most of the pressure off my lower back. This pillow serves as a great "base" structure to build on for that use, BUT it has some pretty big flaws for me which is the reason why I can only give it 3 stars and the reason I've had to spend more money to customize it to work for my situation. BIG FLAW #1: It has an unbelievably hard time staying in place and not sliding down the bed during the course of the night. I don't really have the ability to move much in that sleeping position yet it still moves. I have yet to find a way to keep this pillow from continually sliding down the bed. What's worse is that it's impossible for me to pull it back up since it has no straps so I have to get out of bed to readjust it whenever it gets uncomfortably far from where I need it to be. BIG FLAW #2: For MY back and my specific lumbar issues, the angle of the wedge isn't right. To be fair, the angle isn't right with ANY of these leg elevation wedges since they almost all share the same dimensions. Because the angle is so off for me, I get no pillow support under my knees and that's just really uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I'm short (5 ft 3 in) and my legs probably aren't long enough to fit the pillow... Who knows... but now that I see the product images again, it looks like the model also has no pillow support under their knees. Regardless of that, and seeing as all these pillows would share the same flaw/issue for me, I simply found a way to fix the problem for myself by using a half-moon knee wedge/pillow under my knees. Once that's in place, the wedge pillow setup is just right for removing most of the pressure off my lumbar spine. NOTE: Even though I've made this wedge work for me to some extent, the unfortunate problem is that it will always go back to the worst flaw which is its inability to keep from sliding down the bed throughout the night. To complicate things further, add my need for a knee pillow right where the wedge angles downward and now you have two pillows sliding out of place throughout the night and needing adjustments. It's a nightmare plus a headache and a half, but it's the only thing that I've gotten to work well for my back problems. I'll probably have to buy industrial Velcro to attach the knee pillow to the leg pillow and then find a way to get the leg pillow to stay in place... It's a work in progress. Anyway, the whole point of my review and giving this level of detail is because someone out there may have the same problem and may have to spend more money than just the price of the leg elevation wedges to get a set-up that works for them. MY RATING - 3 STARS: I really wish I could give this product a better rating, but I simply can't. It is a very sturdy and well made pillow that looks like it will last years and years before the foam loses its shape, but it could be overall a better product if certain flaws were fixed. If you're on the fence about it, I would encourage you to at least give it a try since that wedge angle seems to work for most people. NOTE: If you are also worried about the slipping/moving issue, there are other leg pillows that do have built-in straps for easier nightly adjustments. I would have gone with one of those, but this pillow was wider and the width was more important to me than having the built-in straps, especially since I didn't want to further restrict to my sleeping position by having to worry about my legs falling off the sides if I moved them too much in the night. This width is more than comfortable to allow for that. Anyway, this is my honest review. I think I would've run into these problems with almost all of the leg elevation pillows as they are mostly designed the same way. In the end, I selected this particular pillow based off its wider dimension. The height and the width of the wedge work well for me and, thankfully, my feet don't hang off the top edge (which just looks like it would be uncomfortable after a few minutes). Hope this helps...
