Great curls!
Buy this. If you want heatless curls that are stunning and hold all day, buy this product. I have thick long hair and I purchased the medium length one- I will be keeping that but also buying the longer one because I feel like I want a little bit of a loser curl. This one makes the curls tighter due to it being shorter. There are so many different rods to curl your hair around and once you get the hang of it, it’s so quick and easy. You can also remove the middle rods incase you don’t need them. I divided my hair as a zigzag middle part for extra volume and then into three sections on each side, using two rods per section. This gave me volumized beachy (if a little tight) curls that lasted all day. I did struggle the first few times with figuring out the best way to do this but once you know, it’s so easy. It is mediumly comfortable to sleep on but still more comfortable than most heatless curl options I’ve used. The rods themselves are silky smooth and so soft. Overall, great product, that I will be repurchasing and recommending to all my friends.

Quick
Took a minute to get used to twisting the hair around. I have very long thick hair and it works great even with the medium size. I found the double wrapping was still tighter curls. For nice loose curls I would curl 3 bands (2 on each side of head). Perfect for easy morning routine. Takes me about 5 minutes to put in my hair.

Great product - little difficult to work with
This product worked exactly as advertised. I used it almost a week ago and my hair is still wavy, plus I've received a lot of compliments! When I use it again, I will section my hair FIRST, then use the wraps. I might switch to a separate rubber band instead of using the one at the ends. They are a little awkward to twist around, but maybe it's just a learning curve. I was surprised at how well it actually stayed on my head while I slept - I thought it would be a mess! All in all, this is the best way I've found to get curls that stay, and I'm not damaging my hair with heat.

Um….just OK for me
Well, I will give this product a 5-star rating for softness. It is quite comfortable to sleep in. However trying to wrap long, thick hair (mid back) around three pairs of rods on each side is a challenge. I have no trouble wrapping the first and second section, however the last section near the back is very difficult for me to wrap. I also do not find the elastic straps at the bottom of the roll very easy to secure the ends without the hair slipping out. Perhaps it is just a matter of mastering the learning curve but keeping the 3 sections of hair from entangling while wrapping is a challenge. I think I will remove the third set of rods and try wrapping with only 2 and see how that goes

Best curls ever
This is the best heartless curl system I have ever used. Not only is it extremely comfy, but it also creates such stunning curls. Every time I use this system I get massive amounts of compliments! Watch a video on how to do it and by the second or third time you will get it down.

No thank you octopus head
I was so excited to get these after watching a multitude of videos. I have really long blonde hair and the things wouldn't stay on my head. I tried over and over and over and different ways. It could just be my hair. But it did not work anything like the videos showed

Great for cheer ringlets!
My daughter’s cheer team has a “half up, half down, curled in ringlets” competition hair style. I have not been happy about heating her fine hair over and over again, and it’s hard to get the hair big enough for “cheer hair” without tons of hairspray. I tried an Octocurl last night and it turned out awesome! I twisted the hair strands while wrapping them TIGHT and twisting the Octocurl strands at an opposite twist so they would have some tension. The curls this morning are so tight, so big, and without heat or hairspray! Also, we could not find her sleep bonnet before bed (like the product recommends) and the curls still worked out fine. She seemed to sleep well, too. She said it felt “funny” when she went to sleep but did not complain. Happy mom! Give it a try for your cheer girl!

Worth it for heatless curls
I really enjoy this heatless curler! It's very comfy for me to sleep in, I usually dampen my hair, put this on, and then throw my bonnet in. I'm still learning the best method so I don't look like Shirley Temple in the morning, but that will come with time and practice. I recommend using a good quality hair oil in the morning after you take the curls out, for when you are separating the curls a bit. My hair texture works in my favor, as I have thick, curly hair. As far as length goes, my hair is just below my shoulders and I probably should have went a size smaller, but it still works just fine. The elastic bands take some getting used to, and if you don't wrap it a certain way you get the "fish hook" ends. A simple YouTube tutorial advised me how to do it to avoid the hooks. My curls will usually last a couple days which minimizes me having to use excessive heat on my hair. Overall, 5 stars, I use it often!
