For serious athletes, L-Glutamine is a must-have. You can't do a hard leg day without it for recovery. Many formulations have sugar, with some pseudo-scientific justification for it. Sugar creates an insulin spike, and insulin is antagonistic to testerone. Consuming sugar right after a workout defeats the purpose of the workout by negating a major part of the adaptive response. As you might expect from a company founded by Jay Cutler, this formulation contains no sugar. It's also micronized, which means it mixes well. Micronized creatine and micronized L-Glutamine were innovations that answered the problem of gritty drinks that were not the most pleasant thing to drink and that also left you rinsing much of it away to clean your cup, glass, or shaker. This comes in a smallish tub that is perfect for travel. In fact, after sampling this I set the tub with other supplements I am taking with me on a trip. Can't take everything, but this is definitely going with.

I'm an avid gym goer and have taken my fair share of supplements. Some cutting edge, some nonsensical, some standard. It meant I could toss it in with my standard shakes and not even notice it. I'm not sure if I'm riding a placebo effect (I don't think so) but this has impacted me immediately. Leg day recovery? So much better! Heavy deads session? Muscle relief! The suggested serving size is a tiny scoop so this will last for some time. I plan on getting more when it runs out.

L-Glutamine is an amino acid and can supposedly help with muscle recovery, intestinal health, and much more, this powder is completely unflavored and has no taste I could distinguish, adding it to water it dissolved quickly, and the water still tasted like water, the powder can be added to smoothies, protein drinks, or to make a custom tailored post-workout drink, for muscle recovery it's best to drink it after a workout, this supplement agreed with me fine with no side effects, the serving size is 1 scoop (5G) which will provide 5g of L-Glutamine, the container will provide 60-servings. Overall I recommend, single ingredient, unflavored, easy to add into any beverage, dissolves quickly, manufactured in the USA (imported and domestic ingredients), 60-servings, includes scoop.

My wife and I both take L-Glutamine since we both workout and it is one of the most important amino acids to support lean muscle growth and also helps with recovery. This is sixty servings and was well sealed with a scoop inside. She takes one scoop and I take two. It dissolves very well in shakes or water. No taste. We will continue with this when we run out.
