Big Joe Pool Petz Pool Float

First I want to say this is suuuuper cute in person-well made. The reason for my review-I’ve ordered so many different versions of these bean type animal floats before…never have I got one so small. It hardly even holds my 8 year old up. I was imagining she could drape over it and float-but it def goes under. For the price I imagined that it would be a good size. She won’t part with it now of course, but just to warn it’s really small.

After using a short time, it got a hole in the side seam in the pool! What a mess!! The sewing was very poor, to experience to have fall apart the first use!

My girl had a starfish she loved but wore out. This new starfish is plenty large enough for her. So happy to see her enjoying it.

These floats will spring a leak along the stitching, and all that bean-bag fill gets EVERYWHERE. Such a mess. They also fade in the sunlight. They have a 1 year guarantee, but the company leaves it up to themselves to tell if it's not "normal" wear. It's basically a worthless guarantee. I bought 2 floats, and they covered the cheaper one under warranty, and not the other. Bought both at the same time, used them both the same way, and had the same issues with the stitching. Almost impossible to sit on this float as well. The fill will just end up bunching to one side. Cute design, but horrible to actually use as the fill just moves around

There’s nothing “Big Joe” about this overpriced tiny floating toy. Don’t plan on a 1 year old being able to float on this $50 mini. I had thought it would be similar in size to the previous float for the kids but, extremely disappointed, fool me once!
