Boric acid suppositories work really well for female issues if it's of good quality. The first brand I had purchase was great. Then they stopped making it, but I wasn't too concerned until I tried several brands that weren't as good. So my quest for a better product began. Quality matters for this type of product to work well. Other brands are made with a large, thick, opaque capsule that doesn't dissolve properly, can cause a bit of spotting (which I believe is because the product sits in one spot for too long when the capsule doesn't break down correctly), and are excessively messy. I picked this brand because it looked to be a clear capsule that I was hoping would dissolve better, and I was right. It's also a smaller and thinner capsule, so it melts the way it should and makes for easier insertion. I really hope they don't stop making it because I don't want to switch brands again. My only complaint is the name of the company. My husband had lots of jokes when he opened the Amazon delivery, and I can't really blame him..

I have tried it all. When I found out about boric acid I have been using that most of the time but still never felt clean. I used three types of prescription medication and none of them got rid of the problem. I felt like things got worse after my hysterectomy and it is has been a constant struggle for years.
