Barely fit. If you tighten them tight they pop off.

I measured my window rails in every possible to ensure these would fit. As shown they should have fit. BUT my windows have an inner lip on the rails that cannot be seen. Its just big enough to cause these to bind. Good product and seems to be very strong.

Unfortunately, I could not get these to work on my windows. I checked the photo again to ensure the width was less than 1/3 inch and height greater than 3/4 inch however, my windows have a weird bump that stopped them from fully seating. They would also likely work much more easily on horizontal sliding window instead of a traditional double sash window. These seem pretty sturdy, well made and if on the right window would do the trick perfectly. I also think with a bit of modification, I'll still use these but will use a screw to attach them instead of the included machine screws. They come with no instructions, but installation is pretty straightforward in that you put the protective rubber on the frame, slip the metal bracket on over it, and then securely tighten the screws. All the hardware is included which is nice too. Think these would be a five star if they had a bit more adjustability or fit a larger variety of window types.

They work fine except for one very seriously important missing ingredient … that there’s only two keys and 8 locks. That means that if you have the locks on bedroom windows; if there is not a door to the exterior in the room, then without the key you are locked-in the room in the case of a fire. I’m returning only because of a lack of keys and am reordering almost exact same product but with keys for each window. To the seller, dont change a thing on the locks, please just add keys… it might save a life or two. Thx.

All aluminum, window and sliding door locks. If you need extra protection or simply do not have a lock on your window or door, these are perfect for it. It will also keep a window with a fan or AC from sliding. Solid build with a large twist handle to torque it down, simply place on the window frame and lock it into place. Keeps it from moving no matter the reason. They fit well in most modern windows and even fit my sliding glass doors. They are inexpensive and are good value for the money. These are really good, and I am surprised they are not standard issue from window and door makers.
