So with this I received this today. I read reviews where they said the temp just kept going up. What I found out ion my research is what you set it on , it will not go past that. So where mine was set at, on Keep Warm it did not go past 158. It went down to 145 before the heat light kicked on for a sec. I think if you tinker with it, it will be perfect and you won’t waste wax. Just be sure to watch it when you first use it.

My large melter broke during me filling a large order so I had to buy this. I find myself using it more than I use my other large burner. It melts evenly. The digital thermostat is wonderful and it melts a 5lb slab of wax in less than 15 minutes. 10/10

So I bought this melter for my candle making, while I like the size, and it does heat wax relatively quick. The temperature control is not reliable at all I have the temperature set for 185 ,and once it hit that temperature it doesn't hold it keeps rising, it jumped all the way up to 205. Needless to say I ended up disposing of all that wax because the temperature jumped to high. It also had some marks and scratches when I took it out of the box, so I wonder if it was a refurbished product. I even waited a couple before doing this review, to play with it to see if I could find a way like turning the dial down to 150 to see if it would regulate closer to my 185 but nope it keeps rising.

Lo utilizo en una aplicación que no puede pasar de 80 grados Celsius (176 F) y me ha funcionado, no con mucha precisión pero me ha servido, detecto además que en pequeños volúmenes es más difícil mantener la temperatura estable.

Melts great. Temp gauge is slightly off but close enough to work with. Pour spout is a bit too high for pouring. I lose about 4-6 ounces per batch which can be used for at least one more candle.

A panela é ótima. Derrete rápido a cera, mantém a temperatura. Se você seguir as orientações exatamente como vem no manual, consegue trabalhar de forma excelente, controlando a temperatura como quiser. Compraria outra para ter 2, se não fossem tão caros os impostos brasileiros. Sai quase 2x o valor do produto.

El indicador digital de temperatura no funciona. Solo trae un plástico tapando ese hueco. Yo la compré porque vi en unas publicaciones que traía el indicador pero es hechizo. No lo trae.

Tarda mucho en derretir la cera. Lo s grados q indican en la pantalla no son. La acabo de abrir para probarla y no me gusto. La voy a devolver
