This product works perfectly, it cuts through cardboard like butter.

The electric scissors work well and overall, I am happy with their capabilities. I bought them mainly to cut up cardboard boxes to put in our recycling bin and it does that job well. Most of the standard, Amazon box cardboard or other shipping box cardboard, the scissors will cut through without any difficulty. If it is a little bit thicker cardboard, it will still cut it but it goes a little slower. This is understandable in my opinion but that is why I deducted one star. When dealing with thicker cardboard, if you cut parallel to the corrugations, rather than across them, it will improve the speed of the cut. When I initially received the scissors, I thought the charger wasn't working because the charging light didn't come on when I plugged it in. But as it turned out, the battery was already fully charged so the light didn't come on. When the battery is depleted, the red light will come on to indicate that it is charging and it goes off when charging is complete. There is no green light or anything to indicate charging is complete. No big deal but worth knowing so you don't think yours is defective.

Coolest invention ever for cutting various media such as boxes, wrapping paper, cardboard etc. Beats using regular scissors!

Does a great job, cuts through cardboard boxes like a hot knife through butter. Battery last a long time, it is a little loud but you put up with it because it gets the job done.

I had no idea electric scissors existed and now I can't believe I didn't get some sooner. On occasion I sew and these just made my last sewing project go so much faster! I made basically a pillow case that's a stuffed animal for my kid. She picked the fabric and I did the sewing. And the fabric she picked was aa fairly thick synthetic fur. I have never worked with that material before and wowee its no fun to cut manually. These scissors made quick work of the pattern and cut right through it. Pros - the instructions are terrible. They are poorly translated and have poor diagrams. The blade is detachable and comes with a 2nd blade but distinguishing the 2 is almost impossible. Th 2nd blade is supposed to be for thicker material like cardboard but I swear the look exactly the same. All in all its a handy tool to have.

I love it! It makes getting rid of cardboard so much easier. Cuts super easy through even thick cardboard.
