An Amazing Tool
I have bought some knife sharpeners in the past- some electric, grinding stones, and sharpening rods. So far I love this tool in that it enables you to sharpen at a specific angle. The angle calculator is battery powered and you always hit the same angle each time you make a pass. You end up with a sharp knife in a short time. I use this mainly for sharpening my kitchen knives since I do a lot of meal preparation from cutting up veggies to meats of various types. I love the practicality of this tool- it's simple and very effective. The instructions are easy to follow and if unsure you could always check videos from YouTube. This is a tool you're gonna have for a long time. It's well designed and the materials are well built with quality. It comes with angle recommendations depending on the type of knife you're trying to sharpen. I have sharpened my kitchen knives from short to long ones. I have also sharpened my clever that I use for chopping and cutting veggies.

Professional Quality / Precise Results
This is an excellent tool that delivers a precise, polished edge every time. The process is not fast but absolutely worth the time and effort. Watch the video by WorkSharp on YouTube. Take your time...slow, accurate strokes. No pressure needed to get a good edge...just as recommended by WorkSharp in the video. Let the stone do the work for you. I highly recommend applying a felt tip marker to the knife edge when starting and adjusting you angle accordingly so that the contour of the blade isn't changed. Ever stone a blade by hand and get good results all except for the very tip of the blade? I have...bugs me to no end. This tool will deliver a razor edge all the way out to the point! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for! You will not be disappointed!!!

Great system
I just recieved the unit today so take this as a preliminary review. If I encounter any issues I will update. The sharpener is packaged in 2 boxes. 1 for the main unit and one for the stones, clamp support, small blade holder, etc. It is well organized and I recommend keeping the accessories box to hold your stones and small blade attachment. It came with all of the parts and grits listed. Assembly (if you can call it that) was very intuitive and only takes a minute or 2. Clear instructions are provided. I had been using a cheap sharpener that works similar to this in general, but the worksharp has so many more features that make sharpening much easier and more effective. When you're sharpening longer knive thaunit tilts back allowing you to turn it without clamping the blade. This is an incredibly important feature as it allows you to keep a consistent angle throughout the sharpening process. This feature is especially important for kitchen knives which tend to be longer than pocket knives. The other feature that I like is the rotating arm which which sets exactly the same when you rotate. There is no guessing or measuring required to stay consistent. The blade clamp has rubber pads so your knife isn't scratched. The clamp is very secure and uses a wheel that you turn to tighten it. There is a support piece that goes below the clap to keep it from moving up and down as you sharpen. I HIGHLY recommend you use it. It's not mandatory, but it will make your edges more consistent. Imo it's a must. Changing the angle is really simple. The unit has degrees clearly marked and you turn a wheel to raise and lower the angle. It also comes with an electronic angle finder which has a cut out on the bottom to fit on the round arm that holds your stone slider. This makes it so much easier to use than a standard flat bottom angle finder. Really nice touch. I bought a laser edge finder here on amazon just to further simplify my life. If you want one just search for it here under laser edge finder. It was only 30 bucks and pretty simple way to find your edge angles accurately. To test the device I decided to use it on one of my Olde Forge carbon steel knives that was completely dull. I reprofiled the knife completely to 17 degrees. I started with the 220 grit plate and worked all the way up to 800, then the ceramic stone followed by the strip. The diamond stones are high quality and setting the initial edge angle took only a few minutes. I worked eeach side forming a burr before moving to a higher grit. If you are new to sharpening I must tell you that forming a burr is essential. I highly recommend you watch some videos on the subject before sharpening. I won't bore you with the entire process. I'll just say that one of the things that I appreciated was how easy it was to change the plates with the magnetic system. It's much easier than springs and clamps. The strip itself came preloaded with green compound that was very evenly distributed. I liked it a lot. After stropping was finished I had a very sharp knife easily capable of shaving arm hair. The edge is not a true mirror polish, but it's nice and shiney. This brings me to the next point What I wish was available from the company is higher grit stones. You can get a really nice edge with the 800 but you'll need more for a mirror polish if that's your thing. After market plates are out there however. Overall I'm really pleased with the product.

Efficient Edge Perfection!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 This sharpener delivers precision results! The adjustable angle system makes maintaining razor-sharp edges effortless. Sturdy build and smooth operation, though clearer angle indicators would be ideal. Perfect for kitchen pros needing consistent blade performance.

Great sharpening tool
Work sharp thought of everything. The setup was relatively simple but took a little time. The sharpening process also takes a little time and patience, but renders exceptionally sharp knives. For me, this tool was worth the price as I know I will be able to maintain extremely sharp knives for many years to come.

This Is The Pro Sharpener You Want.
I'm a big EDC guy, especially when it comes to collecting premium fixed blade and folding pocket knives. But I'm not an expert knife sharpener. Not even close. I've never sharpened using anything other than an Orange Ninja three stage pull through sharpener. The WorkSharp Professional Precision Adjust kept getting high praise from all the knife guys I regularly watch on Youtube, and I really wanted to learn how to sharpen knives on a system capable of the sharpest results possible if used correctly. So I made the investment and picked one up. My very first work EDC was a Ruko 3.5" lockback. I recently found it again after losing track of it over 20 years ago. It didn't take long to get it looking and working like new, but the blade edge was so dull and badly folded over it wouldn't cut a worm. It was the perfect candidate for a noob's first sharpening attempt. After setting the sharpener up I didn't use it right away. I went full nerd mode and watched several hours of different tutorial videos on Youtube all week before I put my Ruko in the vice clamp and got started. I took my time and patiently worked my way through all 7 magnetic abrasive, honing and strop panels. As a lifelong musician, using the Worksharp felt a lot like playing an instrument. And the results are absolutely freaking astonishing. I honestly can't get over it. This $15 Ruko knife with a 440 stainless blade is now insanely scary ultra sharp. It clutches fingerprints as if it were sticky. Cuts paper into fine ribbons and effortlessly shaves the hair right off my arm. And the blade edge itself has this unreal shimmering mirrored finish that really pops and captures light. I've also sharpened two more, a Civivi Baklash and a 6" Buck 119 fixed blade hunting knife. Exact same icky sticky sharpness and mirrored edge finish. When the guys at work saw for themselves how insane sharp I got my knives, they brought in 4 more of their own for me to sharpen. This is the pro results sharpener you want. And definitely save the durable boxes and packaging trays it comes with, because they hold everything perfectly and makes a great case. Everything you need is included, and everything is built rock solid. The included digital angle reader is very precise and simple to use. WorkSharp put a lot of thought into this system and it shows. It's so easy to get better than factory edge results. You just have to be patient, don't rush it and take your time. The sharpening process is very enjoyable on this system, and the results are so rewarding. I also highly suggest you consider a magnifying glass lamp too. Being able to see the blade edge up close while working on it really improves results. The one pictured in my photo is made by Krstlv, comes with both a solid base and side of table vice clamp, multiple light brightness modes and light color modes. It's excellent for this purpose and is available on Amazon for under $40. Can't wait to sharpen my next knife! The Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust is an awesome product that's easy to use, and it consistently delivers X level sharpness. This WorkSharp gets my highest possible recommendation. I hope this review was helpful.

Best sharpener I have used.
TL,DR: The best sharpener I have used. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Put razor sharp edges on two old knives, right out of the box. Performed fantastic. Only major issue was a little wiggle in the clamp. Main review: I just got my Precision Adjust Pro, today. Right out of the box, I can say the product seems well made. I like the fact the box contains divided compartments to store everything. While some form of blow molded case would be better, it would increase the price drastically. As for performance: My first two knives were 30 year old kitchen knives from a well known cutlery company. One has been used so much I wasn't sure it could be saved. The other was barely used but was never very sharp, even when brand new. I was able to easily put wicked-sharp edges on both knives. The system is absolutely easy to use, easy to set up, and performed mostly flawlessly. The digital angle indicator let me dial in the recommended edge for both knives. I am looking forward to years of use. I am not the best at hand sharpening. I can put a decent enough edge on my pocket and hunting knives. I would never have tried kitchen knives by hand. This product made it simple. The only negatives I have found so far are: 1. The V-block clamp didn't hold the most securely. As I worked the stones over the blade, I noticed that one side of the blade tended to wiggle out slightly. I don't know if it was the thin blades and their distal tapers, the clamps grip not being "sticky" enough, or the clamp itself doesn't put even enough pressure across the blade to hold. These were not large knives so only time will tell if this will become a bigger problem with my bigger stuff. 2. Stone grits. I think what comes in the box is great to start with. I would love to see Work Sharp release a number of higher grit stones beyond 800.

A Great Sharpener from a company with Excellent Customer Service.
This is a great product. I have a top of the line electric sharpener and this product beats it hands down on the sharpness of my knives. I have an assortment of high end kitchen knives and I wanted something that could accurately sharpen and maintain at a blade at the desired angle. It is easy to set up and easy to use. The various videos on YouTube from the company are also very good. Customer service is superb. I had a problem with the clamp adjustment screw that froze. The company responded within a day as to how to remedy that and their easy solution worked. No problem since. It is not cheap but well worth the price if you value your knives and don't mind taking a little time to keep them in tip tip shape
