Hestan Provisions – 3-Quart Stainless Steel Steamer Insert

I had my fingers crossed that this would fit in my small oven. It does! The outside measurement is exactly 15 1/2" x 12" x 3" high; 5" high including handles. It is roomier than I expected for being a “small” roaster. The heavy duty rack sits up high in the pan for good air circulation when roasting. It works perfectly on my induction burner. It is a heavy, solid roaster with a flawless finish that feels like it will last a lifetime.

FINALLY. The perfect roasting pan. I wanted one that worked well, was made of good material that wasn't going to flake or scratch off, easy to clean and easy to use. This. Is. It. Slightly expensive but compared to some of the pans out there, this was the best value for the performance and qualities I wanted. I could not find a better pan. Even the super expensive ones did not have the qualities this pan has. If you are looking for a roasting pan that you will use for life and probably pass down in your family, this one is it. I also liked the size. Easy fit in the oven but also large enough it held/cooked a 20 lb ham. I have also used it for an 8 lb turkey and it was perfect. The only thing that might be a turn off for people is that it is very high quality material and solid. So it is on the hefty side. Luckily for us, this is not an issue. LOVE LOVE LOVE this pan.

Got this to replace the crappy 20 year old aluminum roasting pan we got for our wedding and wow, what an upgrade. Beautifully made, flat rivets on the interior for ease of cleaning, nice rack too. Unlike our old junk roaster, this will last for years and I'm sure I'll give it to one of my kids someday. The only down side is that it is heavy, at about 8.4 pounds.

I'm really glad I purchased this pan despite other less expensive options. I'd been limping along with a light roasting pan and an ill-fitting rack for years. Every Thanksgiving, I wondered if this would be the year the turkey fell on the floor. No more! This pan is a versatile size, large enough for a turkey or a large group meal like baked ziti or lasagne. It's also well made with sturdy handles that lift from the top of the pan---so you don't burn your hands on the side of the oven. The best part is the tight fitting rack; I don't worry about lifting the roast out of the oven. I also like the fact that it doesn't have non-stick coating that will peel off .

Extremely nice. Induction stove compatibility is a must for gravy; this works well for that (or boiling water). See video. The rack is also extremely nice, as it is sturdy without cross bracing, making it easy to clean. After roasting a large prime rib roast, both the rack and the pan were easy to clean. Teflon-like, without the chemical problems. Handles on both the roaster and rack are perfect.

Great roaster, nice sturdy rack AND it works on an induction range. Much to my surprise, I discovered a few days before Thanksgiving that my AllClad stainless steel roaster didn’t work on my new Wolf induction range. I have other Hestan cookware and was glad to see it was available for fast shipping through Amazon. It’s heavy duty and well made. I know I will have it for a long time! There was a bit of discoloration on the inside after the first cook that I did over Thanksgiving, but since it will be full of whatever you are cooking no one will see that AND it certainly doesn’t effect how it works. Highly recommend!

I purchased this pasta strainer as an addition to go along with the set of Heston Probond stainless pots and pans I bought for my wife. These are quality constructed, great looking, and heavy duty.

update: I seared a 7 pound pork loin in this pan on the stove top today. I cut it in half crossways. It turned out really nice. I heated the pan up like a regular stainless steel skillet and then added some olive oil. I put a paper towel on the pieces right before putting them in the pan. They were about room temperature. They seared very well. I then put the whole thing in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour and 15 minutes. Most all the fat side rendered off. I wasn't sure about cooking in it without using the rack, but it turned out great! Lots of fun. Great pan. I have used this for roasting chicken a couple of times. It cleaned up mostly with dish soap, warm water and a silicone turner. Very easy. I did use a little Bar Keepers friend for pots and pans. It cleans up gorgeous. The first thing that I was drawn to when I opened the box was the rack. It is truly magnificent and easy to clean off. The spacing of the rack bars are perfect. It is heavy gauge and built tough. Top notch. Very happy.

Thick wall, solid rack, encapsulated clad, great handle. Expensive pan but 100% worth it. It work great with induction stove top. The best "hidden feature" is the pan takes only half a tablet in a standard fridge. Great when preparing the food ahead of time.

So high quality. Perfect size.
