I bought a Zen Garden and it didn't come with enough sand, so I purchased this. Wow. It is so much nicer than the sand that came with the Zen Garden. It is very fine, but what makes it pretty (I bought the white) is that it has a sparkle to it! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Sand looks nice and is a pretty color. The shipment did not arrive in good shape. The container in the box broke open in transit and arrived to my door in a bag with sand outside the box.

So this is not the sand I see in Monterey County, CA MEANING, it was too fine for my like. This is more like a Dust. But the color is spot on

I ordered this sand to be used in the unity ceremony at my daughter's wedding. Her colors are plum and gray, so her fiancé will pour this sand into the center vase, and she will pour the plum sand.

Offwhite...not pure white

This is perfect for jewelry, or any craft project where you want to depict realistic type sand

Worked fine. It's only sand.
